Candace Cameron Bure Shared Throwback Post With Jennifer Aniston, Danica McKellar And Tons Of Other Sitcom Stars In ‘90s TV Movie, And I’m Bursting With Nostalgia
1980s and ’90s sitcoms featured teen idols who remain central figures in modern-day TV programming, even after decades have passed. Shows like “Full House,” “Family Matters,” “Friends” and numerous others continue to be popular choices for rewatching. Recently, Candace Cameron Bure left me amazed with a nostalgic post showcasing many child actors from that era – Danica McKellar, Jennifer Aniston, Jaleel White, and more – acting together in a ’90s TV movie.
Back in 1990, there was a show called “Camp Cucamonga” that children might recall. Nicknamed the “wackiest, funniest summer getaway,” it aired on NBC. If you missed out on this ’90s treasure, brace yourself for a wave of nostalgia that’ll send you reeling from your high-tops! Recently, Candace Cameron Bure posted some photos and videos on Instagram reminiscing about the show.

This group photo appears to be a gathering of the most prominent actors from the top-rated sitcoms throughout history. Among them is a star from “Full House,” joined by John Ratzenberger, who graced our screens in “Cheers.” Additionally, you’ll find Sherman Hemsley, known for his roles in both “All in the Family” and its spinoff “The Jeffersons.” The duo from “The Wonder Years,” Danica McKellar and Josh Saviano, are also present. Four years before her breakout role on “Friends,” Jennifer Aniston is here. Not to be outshined, Jaleel White from “Family Matters” is in attendance, as well as Chad Allen from the unique sitcom “My Two Dads.” Breckin Meyer and many others complete this impressive lineup of sitcom stars.
Intrigue surrounded the last name in question, as it pertains to Kelly Rizzo, widow of Bob Saget, a former cast member on “Full House” and current partner of the “Clueless” actor. Rizzo made a comment about this matter.
Love this! And omg Breckin Meyer 😁😁😁
Apart from her, other members of the Full House family at CCB also shared their thoughts. Specifically, Dave Coulier’s spouse, Melissa, vividly recalled Camp Cucamonga and referred to it as:
One of my favs!!
It’s strange how excited I feel about a fictional camp, as if I’m missing out. Even though it’s odd to be this engrossed in seeing so many actors together in a picture, I can’t help but be captivated by the videos too! Candace Cameron Bure recently posted behind-the-scenes clips of the cast rehearsing their dance routines (I should probably refresh my “Running Man” moves) and just acting silly between scenes.
As a passionate cinephile, I must say, it was quite amusing when Danica McKellar’s character Lindsey outshined Candace Cameron Bure’s Amber during that dance scene. It seemed like Bure might have stumbled on her steps, and that moment stood out vividly to Jen Lilley, who, much like Bure and McKellar, moved from Hallmark to Great American Family. Lilley even gave a shout-out to McKellar in her commentary.
I am dying! How did I not know this gem existed 😂😂😂😂 I LOVE YOU ALL!
The Wonder Years star was also feeling the nostalgia, as she wrote in CCB’s comments:
Wow, memories…!! 😁
This article is overflowing with nostalgia, and it’s hard to believe that these actors not only appeared together in the 1990 TV movie, but also spent time socializing as if they were at their very own summer camp! Sadly, it seems that Camp Cucamonga isn’t currently streaming. Fingers crossed that you’ve managed to keep your VHS recording from television hidden away somewhere.
