"Cancelled" Marvel character will return to the MCU after all, reports say

As a long-time Marvel fan, I can honestly say that the Multiverse Saga has never been more exhilarating! After a slight lull in interest over the past few years, the MCU has truly come roaring back with the success of Deadpool and Wolverine, and the announcement that Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Doctor Doom in Avengers 5 has sent fan excitement through the roof.

The Thrill of the Multiverse Saga Reaches a Peak: Though there were some challenging times for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the past few years, causing a slight decline in fan enthusiasm, the recent successes at San Diego Comic-Con and the box office hits like “Deadpool” and “Wolverine” have made the ongoing storyline more captivating than ever.

1. The news that Robert Downey Jr. is coming back to the series, this time as the antagonist Doctor Doom, has sparked renewed excitement among fans. It’s a fresh twist for sure, but the anticipation for Avengers 5, now known as Avengers: Doomsday, is through the roof. Marvel seems to have hit the bullseye with this move.

A recent report proposes that some characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) who have previously appeared may join the Avengers team to face off against Doctor Doom. One of these potential returnees had a questionable outcome in the series.

She-Hulk rumored to appear in Avengers: Doomsday

Based on a recent report by Marvel veteran insider MyTimeToShineHello, the production for “Avengers: Doomsday” started last month and it’s expected to showcase characters like Spider-Man, Sam Wilson as Captain America, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk. While this doesn’t necessarily mean they will be the only heroes involved (as we know the Fantastic Four are returning, and Benedict Cumberbatch has confirmed his participation), it does promise an intriguing ensemble of heroes who have made substantial contributions to the Marvel Multiverse Saga up until now.

What makes this gossip intriguing is the mention of She-Hulk, implying that we might not have seen the end of her character just yet. Played by Tatiana Maslany, Jennifer Walters first appeared in the MCU on Disney Plus series ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’, which was applauded for its clever script and innovative approach (it was a legal comedy). However, the character has not reappeared since, and there have been whispers that the show won’t be renewed for another season.

Previously this year, Maslany expressed her belief that “Orphan Black” might not come back for another season due to overspending and Disney declining the renewal. Lately, there have been various speculations about Marvel potentially transforming several of its initial miniseries into prolonged series. Notably, “She-Hulk,” which was intended to last multiple seasons like a conventional TV sitcom, hasn’t been mentioned among those rumored for revival. With the cancellation whispers persisting, it seemed that Marvel was prepared to leave the show behind.

In light of Marvel Studios changing their release strategy towards a more conservative approach, it appears that the high-budget series, She-Hulk, might have been one of the productions to get axed. However, with her grandeur fitting perfectly in an epic Avengers film, it seems she could reappear on our screens when such a movie is made.

Despite the fact that “She-Hulk: Attorney At Law” concluded with such a strong finish, it’s evident that fans of Jennifer Walters are eager for her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character was an exhilarating and entertaining addition to the established MCU world, and it would be intriguing to witness Tatiana Maslany’s remarkable performance alongside various other MCU heroes. To put it simply, we have a feeling that she and Spider-Man would hit it off quite well! Imagine if there was a scene where she interacts with Deadpool by breaking the fourth wall – now wouldn’t that be something to behold? Marvel Studios, please consider this suggestion!

I hope that She-Hulk will make a comeback on our screens someday. It’s great to know that Marvel hasn’t abandoned the character yet. Though it’s important to remember that rumors are just that until officially confirmed by Marvel Studios or the involved actors, the prospect of Jen’s return is truly thrilling.
