Can You Recognize This Britain’s Got Talent Star 14 Years After His Iconic Audition?

Britain’s Got Talent has had its fair share of very memorable auditions over the years.

Back in 2011, I was the one who captivated judges Amanda Holden, Michael McIntyre, and Louis Walsh with my performance on stage.

At 12 years old, he received a standing ovation as he showcased his extraordinary singing abilities, leaving both the judges and the crowd speechless.

After a span of fourteen years since his rise to stardom on the show, the singer appears drastically different from his time on the talent competition, as evidenced by photos he posted on his Instagram account.

Currently at the age of 26, he’s experienced a significant shift in his professional path, subtly transitioning out of public view to focus on the hospitality industry.

But can you guess who the Britain’s Got Talent legend is? 

That’s right, it’s Ronan Parke!

The photos he shares on social media offer a glimpse into his life post-fame, showing everything from late-night outings in London with companions to trips overseas for vacations.

The celebrity from Norfolk frequently displays his unique style by posting many fashionable photos for his 50,000 Instagram fans to admire.

Back in 2011, Ronan placed runner-up on the show, being beaten only by winner Jai McDowall.

At twelve years old, Ronan astounded the judges with an incredibly impressive performance of “Feeling Good” originally sung by Nina Simone.

He elicited a standing ovation from both the audience and the judges, while his mother wept backstage, watching him with Ant and Dec.

However, even though the bookmakers initially favored Scottish singer Jai to emerge victorious, it was he who ultimately snatched the title.

Following my impressive performance on Britain’s Got Talent, I was fortunate enough to secure a recording contract with Sony Music and launched my self-titled debut album in 2011. To my delight, this record climbed up the charts, peaking at an impressive number 22 position.

He also released a Christmas hit and a charity single in 2012 to represent anti-bullying. 

During his youthful adulthood, Ronan put out a song named “No Love (Like First Love)” and an album entitled “Found My Way” back in 2018 – this being the last time he introduced fresh tunes to the world.

Currently employed in the hospitality industry, Ronan hasn’t abandoned his love for music. In fact, he showcased his vocal talents at London Pride all the way back in 2019.

Previously, Ronan opened up in an interview regarding his sense of self following instances of online hate speech due to his sexual orientation during his time on a talent competition.

Regarding his time on the show, he commented: “I often recall those days from various perspectives. Overall, it was largely a beneficial experience, yet there were instances that transpired during my youth which, in retrospect, I might think, ‘Perhaps I was too young for that situation.’

At the age of 12, navigating social media was challenging due to constant, negative comments centered around my sexuality.

I hadn’t discussed it before, as I was quite young at the time, and it wasn’t necessary. However, it seemed to be a recurring topic, which made it challenging for me to cope with.
