As a lifestyle expert with years of experience observing the ever-evolving world of fashion and music, I must say that Camila Cabello‘s return to her natural black hair is a stunning move. She exudes a classic elegance that complements her powerful voice and captivating stage presence.

I was absolutely thrilled when I saw Camila Cabello rocking her stunning black tresses during her electrifying performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York State on Wednesday!

Originally, she was a dark-haired beauty when her career took off as part of the girl band Fifth Harmony, but she’s actually naturally a brunette.

Lately, she tried a new style by dyeing her hair platinum blonde. However, at her most recent event on the red carpet, she unveiled that she’s back to her natural dark hair color again.

That evening, the 27-year-old performer, nominated for two VMA awards, was quite a spectacle, wearing a dazzling, semi-transparent lace dress that beautifully accentuated her physique.

A matching black lace veil was draped over her head, but her sumptuous black locks could still be seen cascading over her shoulders.

Camila’s elaborate dress boasted a jagged, off-center neckline, providing an understated peek at her neck area.

She accentuated some sparkle with necklaces featuring two crosses and a choker, casting a captivating gaze at the cameras from beneath her bangs.

That night, the female singer known as Senorita was nominated for two Video Music Awards (VMAs) – Best Pop Artist and Best Trending Video for her collaboration with Playboi Carti on “I LUV IT”. She was also invited to take the stage for a performance.

2021’s event will be taking place at the UBS Arena in Long Island on September 11, with Megan Thee Stallion as this year’s host – a renowned rapper from the savage scene.

29-year-old Megan has been nominated for five awards, with categories such as ‘Best Collaboration’ and ‘Best Hip-Hop’. Previously, she took home the award for ‘Best Power Anthem’, thanks to her hit song Hot Girl Summer.

The evening’s lineup boasts an impressive roster of popular music stars, including Sabrina Carpenter, Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro, Benson Boone, Halsey, LISA, Lenny Kravitz, Anitta, Karol G, LL Cool J, and Shawn Mendes – all ready to take the stage.

The MTV VMAs will air live on 8pm ET/PT.

This year’s recipient of the legendary Video Vanguard Award will be Katy Perry.

According to Bruce Gillmer, who holds the positions of Chief Content Officer of Music at Paramount+ and President of Music, Talent, Programming, and Events at Paramount, Katy is an incredibly powerful figure in the music world and a genuine symbol of pop culture.

According to Gillmer, her groundbreaking, creative perspective has made her a worldwide sensation and allowed her to command the most prominent stages globally.

Notable recipients of the Video Vanguard Award in the past are artists such as David Bowie, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and Pink.

The award comes as Perry prepares to release her upcoming seventh studio album 143.

The debut single from her album titled “Woman’s World” did not perform well on the charts after it was released during the summer.

Speaking of awards, Taylor Swift has earned an impressive 10 nominations, making her the most nominated artist at this particular event.

At 34 years old, this acclaimed artist stands on the brink of creating a new milestone. If she wins the Video Of The Year award again, she will be the first ever to claim the title five times. Currently, she holds the record for the most Video of the Year awards with her four triumphs already inscribed in history.

Her collaboration with Post Malone, the track Fortnight, is up for Video of the Year.

Post Malone lags behind Taylor Swift by a single nomination, having garnered a total of nine, with the majority stemming from their collaborative efforts.

The one nomination he received without Taylor’s assistance was for Best Collaboration for I Had Some Help, his track with Morgan Wallen.

Also up for six nominations are Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, and Eminem.

Like Megan Thee Stallion, SZA is up for five nominations.

Meanwhile, Olivia Rodrigo, Teddy Swims, and Blackpink member Lisa all tied with four nods each.

Finally Benson Boone, Anitta, Dua Lipa, Tyla, Bleachers, and GloRilla all have three nominations.
