Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden seemed tired as they were spotted with their son, Cardinal, in New York City on Thursday.

The actress, age 53, was seen enjoying a relaxed walk with her husband and youngest child. It was the first time they’ve been seen together publicly in over a year.

In addition to their one-year-old son, Diaz and Madden also share five-year-old daughter Raddix.

Diaz showed off her fashion sense on a city walk, wearing a relaxed outfit with a denim jacket and jeans.

She walked alongside the 46-year-old guitarist from Good Charlotte, carrying a travel mug while he pushed their young child in a stroller.

The actress, known for her role in Charlie’s Angels, dressed casually in a white V-neck tee, a denim jacket, straight-leg jeans, and white sneakers.

She carried everything she needed in a small crossbody bag and went out with a fresh, natural face, opting for no makeup.

She had her long blonde hair up in a messy bun and was wearing aviator sunglasses for their outing that morning.

The musician stood next to her, wearing a black T-shirt and a large, faded hoodie with a bleached look.

He wore his signature black trucker cap and also wore a shiny gold chain. 

Their son was wearing a cream sweater, blue pants, and sneakers, and his outfit seemed to match his mom’s.

Camila Diaz and Benji Madden, known for keeping their relationship private, were recently seen together in public for the first time in a year. The couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in January.

They were last seen together in public in August 2024, shortly after the birth of their son in Montecito, California.

Last March, the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Cardinal, on Instagram, choosing not to publicly reveal the pregnancy, just as they did with their first child.

The usually private celebrity also shared: ‘He’s wonderful, and we’re all thrilled to have him! To protect our children’s privacy and safety, we won’t be sharing any photos, but he’s incredibly adorable.’

The message went on to say, ‘We’re feeling incredibly thankful and sending all our love from our family to yours! ❤️ Wishing you the best and a wonderful afternoon!⚡️’

That month, Madden unexpectedly revealed he’s actually a little intimidated by his wife, and shared some personal details about their quiet and private marriage.

Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden appeared on Rob Lowe’s SiriusXM podcast, Literally!, with his twin brother, Benji Madden.

Benji and Joel Madden, married to Nicole Richie, both confessed they jokingly feel intimidated by their powerful wives.

Benji added that they fear their partners ‘in the best way.’

Benji playfully warned anyone who might challenge Cameron and Nicole, referring to them as ‘queens.’ He confidently stated that opposing them wouldn’t go well and that he wouldn’t even need to intervene.

This news follows the announcement that Cameron Diaz is returning to acting. She’ll be starring in Shrek 5, but the movie won’t be released until the summer of 2027.

DreamWorks has delayed the release of its next animated film by six months. It will now premiere on June 30, 2027, instead of December 2026 as originally planned.

The film doesn’t have to launch during the busy holiday season alongside big releases like Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part III.

Universal has moved an upcoming Illumination film to April 16, 2027, a date previously reserved for the fifth Shrek movie.
