The updated Melomania P100 SE earphones carry over all the high-end attributes from the original P100, such as an impressive 100-hour battery life, multi-point connectivity, and hi-res audio playback. These features put them ahead of many other headphones in the market. The same three-layer 40mm drivers with neodymium magnets are present, but they’ve been finely tuned for a more dynamic sound performance at higher volume levels.
Besides enhancing the audio quality, Cambridge Audio has prioritized enhancing comfort with their new model and special edition headphones. The headband now boasts a more luxurious cushioning, a feature they claim is designed for extended listening sessions without discomfort. Moreover, the P100 SE comes equipped with Cambridge Audio’s exclusive DynamEQ technology, which aims to maintain a perfectly balanced sound across all volume levels – even at lower volumes, where sound details are usually lost.
The new headphones are commendable! Along with that, the company has made improvements to its Melomania Connect app, compatible with both iOS and Android devices. Now, users can personalize the sound for their preferred music genres using six preset options.
