If your goal is to watch the entire storyline of “Vampire Diaries,” you should hurry up because “The Originals” won’t be available on Prime Video for much longer.
The highly acclaimed offshoot show revolves mainly around the Mikaelson vampire siblings, who were once of Mystic Falls, as they make a comeback in New Orleans with the aim of reclaiming their city from their former ally, Marcel.
Klaus, a unique being with both werewolf and vampire traits, encounters an unusual predicament as Hayley, another werewolf, carries his unborn child. Alongside his kin, Klaus embarks on a mission to shield the miraculous baby from diverse supernatural threats.
The Originals ran for five seasons between 2013 and 2018 and is available to stream on Prime Video.
The series has been included on the streamer’s list of shows set to expire within the next 30 days, so fans should hurry up if they want to watch the entire show before it disappears.
The Mikaelsons were first introduced as antagonists in season 2 of The Vampire Diaries.
Fans grew fond of the intricate and strong family, and before long, they got their own series, which critics praised as superior to the initial version.
As a gamer, let me tell you, this spinoff is hands down one of the best I’ve ever come across. The Mikaelson clan never fails to keep things interesting, and each season has been almost as captivating as the last. Klaus, among all characters, stands out as one of the best, making the show a must-watch just for him alone.
In my view, this series surpasses “The Vampire Diaries” significantly. It boasts a superb cast, well-developed characters, an engaging plot, and a captivating setting. The creators have skillfully made it more ominous than “TVD,” and it avoids the typical “coming of age” narrative.
Later on, The Originals introduced a separate series that centered around the daughter of Klaus, Hayley, and Hope – a unique character with both werewolf, vampire, and witch lineage.
In Legacies, the initial three-in-one entity, Hope, carried on her tale. She, along with other extraordinary beings, attended the Salvatore School for the Talented and Exceptional.
