If your goal is to watch the entire storyline of “Vampire Diaries,” you should hurry up because “The Originals” won’t be available on Prime Video for much longer.

The highly acclaimed offshoot show revolves mainly around the Mikaelson vampire siblings, who were once of Mystic Falls, as they make a comeback in New Orleans with the aim of reclaiming their city from their former ally, Marcel.

The Mikaelson clan never fails to keep things interesting, and each season has been almost as captivating as the last. Klaus, among all characters, stands out as one of the best, making the show a must-watch just for him alone.

In my view, this series surpasses “The Vampire Diaries” significantly. It boasts a superb cast, well-developed characters, an engaging plot, and a captivating setting. The creators have skillfully made it more ominous than “TVD,” and it avoids the typical “coming of age” narrative.

Later on, The Originals introduced a separate series that centered around the daughter of Klaus, Hayley, and Hope – a unique character with both werewolf, vampire, and witch lineage.

In Legacies, the initial three-in-one entity, Hope, carried on her tale. She, along with other extraordinary beings, attended the Salvatore School for the Talented and Exceptional.
