The actor who plays a leading role in “All Creatures Great and Small,” Nicholas Ralph, has revealed significant updates regarding the forthcoming sixth season of the show.
As I hop onto social media, I can’t contain my excitement as the actor portraying the beloved veterinarian James Herriot from our favorite drama series shares that we’ve finished shooting the next round of episodes!
In an exclusive video shared on Instagram Stories, the team was captured embracing one another following the filming of the last scene for the latest season, which they posted on Thursday.
With the video, Ralph also posted a message saying “Wrapping up S6” along with a heart emoji. Production of the newest edition started in February, but the official release date hasn’t been announced yet.
In the charming 1940s Yorkshire landscape, I find myself immersed in the heartwarming tale of All Creatures Great and Small – a story that follows me, a veterinary surgeon, as I journey through the wonders and challenges of rural life.
James Herriot, having just graduated from Glasgow Veterinary College, embarks on his ambition to be a vet in the Yorkshire Dales. He learns that caring for the animals often involves understanding and helping their owners, as the farmers of the Dales can be hard to satisfy.
Alongside Ralph, we have an impressive lineup for our series, which includes stars like Rachel Shenton, Samuel West, Anna Madeley, Imogen Clawson, and Callum Woodhouse.
Recently, there has been news that Ralph is set to join the cast of the upcoming period drama “Wax Fruit”, alongside Martin Compston from “Line of Duty”.
19th-century Glasgow serves as the backdrop for an upcoming series that chronicles the Moorhouse family’s journey from humble rural beginnings to the opulence of the Victorian high-society. The narrative encompasses their rise, along with the glamour and splendor associated with their newfound status.
Regarding the upcoming series, Ralph expressed: “The characters are all intricately crafted and distinct, yet at its core lies the impressive Moorhouse clan. I’m captivated by the setting, the era, and these fascinating characters, and I must admit, I’m deeply invested. To put it simply, I can hardly wait to become a part of the Wax Fruit team.
In the United Kingdom, the television series titled “All Creatures Great and Small” can be found on Channel 5. Unfortunately, as of now, there is no specified release date for Season 6. However, you can enjoy Seasons 1 through 5 on their platform called My5.
