Call of Duty x Squid Game Collaboration Teased For January 2025
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say, the crossover between Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Netflix’s Squid Game has me intrigued! The blend of high-intensity gaming and the suspenseful, thrilling world of Squid Game is a unique proposition that I can’t help but be excited about.
Activision has announced that a collaboration with the popular Netflix series “Squid Game” will be added to both “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War” and “Warzone” within the upcoming month, marking the approach of Season 2 on the streaming service.
The brief video that follows may not reveal too many details, but it seems likely that you’ll find Squid Game-inspired merchandise, featuring the guards’ masks with circular, triangular, or square symbols, weapon skins, and other items in line with the hit show. There might also be a Squid Game mode to look forward to! Time will tell.
If you haven’t seen Squid Game yet, it’s all set in and around a twisted game in which 456 players compete to be the last one standing, winning a huge cash prize that steadily increases as contestants are killed off. The Call of Duty x Squid Game collaboration is due to kick off in January 2025.
