Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 comes to Xbox Game Pass July 24

Starting on July 24, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will debut on Xbox Game Pass, as revealed by Microsoft. It marks the initial instance of a Call of Duty title joining Game Pass. The inclusion applies to both Xbox console and PC versions.

The most recent installation in the primary Call of Duty series, which came out in November 2023, is called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This game marks a new beginning for the esteemed Modern Warfare franchise, as the initial Modern Warfare 3 was launched as far back as 2011.

Microsoft revealed an increase in prices for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and its PC version earlier this month. To access Modern Warfare 3 on Game Pass, the monthly fee is now $19.99 for Ultimate or $11.99 if using a PC.

Will Modern Warfare 3 be the only Call of Duty game on Game Pass?

As a gamer, I’ve recently discovered that Modern Warfare 3 is now available on Xbox Game Pass. But here’s a heads-up, fellow gamers: this might not be the only Call of Duty game to join the lineup. According to Microsoft’s confirmation, Black Ops 6 will also be added to Game Pass on release day. Knowing that more Call of Duty titles could potentially be part of my Game Pass subscription helps ease the sting of the recent price increase.

As a devoted gamer, I can’t help but feel disappointed when I log into Game Pass and don’t see some of my favorite Call of Duty games among the lineup. It seems like many other fans share this sentiment, as we’ve been vocal about our desire to see these titles added to the library.

Currently, only MW3 and Black Ops 6 are scheduled to join Game Pass. However, this lineup may expand in the future based on fan interest and requests for additional older titles.
