As a seasoned Call of Duty: Black Ops veteran with over a decade under my gaming belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Season 1! Three new maps themed around the criminal underground? Sign me up!
In the upcoming season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, we’ll get a peek at three fresh, multiplayer maps for the first time.
As a thrilled fan, I can’t contain my excitement as we’re not far from diving into the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6! Prepare for a flood of fresh content, including the exciting blend with Warzone. Notably, it was just confirmed that three brand-new maps are on their way with the launch of Black Ops 6 Season 1.
The following maps – Hideout, Extraction, and Heirloom – based on the criminal underworld, will soon be available. You’ll have an opportunity to explore these new maps firsthand when they go live on November 14. For a quick preview, let’s delve into them now.
Black Ops 6 Season 1 to introduce three new multiplayer maps
It’s worth mentioning that the new multiplayer maps for Season 1 might not be limited to just these three. On the official Call of Duty X account, a glimpse of some of the new maps was shared, hinting that more may be on the way.
It appears there might be a possibility of additional maps joining the lineup during Black Ops 6 Season 1, though this is subject to confirmation. For now, we have three officially announced maps. Let me share some insights on these based on the brief video:
- Hideout (6v6): An asymmetrical secluded base with buildings and containers to weave in and out from.
- Extraction (6v6): An oceanside airport with helicopter pads, hangers, an air traffic control tower, and other buildings to provide interior and exterior battles.
- Heirloom (6v6 & 2v2): An art museum with multiple floors, entryways, corridors, and exquisite pieces of art to use as cover.
Based on the sneak peek provided, this is all we can infer for now. However, expect a comprehensive Call of Duty blog post closer to the start of Black Ops 6 Season 1 that will delve deeper into the three upcoming maps. This post should cover callouts, locations, and much additional information.
