As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must admit that the latest announcement from Activision for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone has me positively buzzing with excitement! The mid-season update, Season 01 Reloaded, promises to bring a fresh wave of action, adventure, and undead carnage with the addition of the Citadelle des Morts map.
Activision has announced that the mid-season updates for both “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” and “Warzone,” known as Season 01 Reloaded, will be released this week. Among the new additions is the “Citadelle des Morts” map designed specifically for the Zombies mode. Here’s a sneak peek at some gameplay from this exciting new map.
In addition, the ‘CODMAS’ event is set to commence shortly, featuring a variety of limited-time holiday-inspired modes such as Ran-Snack, Infectious Holiday, Slay Ride Resurgence, and others. There will also be three multiplayer maps available, one of which is Nuketown Holiday map, along with the introduction of three new weapons. Lastly, for those who enjoy competitive gameplay, Battle Royale Ranked Play in Warzone will be introduced starting from next year. Furthermore, in January 2025, players can look forward to a crossover event with the popular series, Squid Game.
The “Citadel of the Dead” will carry on the Zombies saga, transporting you into a medieval setting featuring a fortified village and an imposing castle that conceals immense power and peril. Needless to say, it’s overrun by hordes of the undead as well, including the terrifying new two-headed ‘Doppelghast’ adversary. Fortunately, you’ll have access to fresh gear and weapons to aid in your fight, which includes flaming swords.
