Caitlyn Jenner spends time with friends while grieving Sophia Hutchins’ shocking death at 29

On Friday, about a week following the tragic quad bike accident that took her friend Sophia Hutchins‘ life, Caitlyn Jenner was spotted publicly.

The former Olympian, 75, was seen shopping for groceries with friends amid her grief.

Sophia met her tragic end when she fell approximately 350 feet off a cliff while riding an ATV, following suspicions that she collided with a car bumper.

Sophia was 29 years old at the time of her death, which occurred on July 2nd.

In the year 2017, Hutchins shifted residence to Jenner’s house and commenced his job as the celebrity’s manager. He assumed this role from Jenner’s former spouse, Kris Jenner, who is now 69 years old, following their divorce in 2015.

According to DailyMail.com’s sources, the collision with the car caused the ATV and Hutchins to fall approximately 350 feet into a deep ravine.

First responders pronounced Hutchins dead at the scene. 

According to investigators, it is suspected that she was driving too fast on her 2013 Polaris ATV, and at the time of the collision, she was alongside a Mazda before hitting the vehicle from behind.

The impact caused the ATV to veer off the cliff off the winding mountainous road in Malibu. 

The two individuals in the car struck by Hutchins and the ATV were not injured.

For more than a decade, starting from when Jenner publicly identified as a woman in 2015, Hutchins was part of her closest group of associates.

In that very year, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with Caitlyn. I was fortunate enough to feature in several installments of the reality TV series I Am Cait, a fascinating offshoot of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Although they resided together, Hutchins had clarified to The New York Times earlier that their relationship was strictly professional and friendly in nature, with no romantic involvement involved.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I frequently refer to Caitlyn as my guiding parent. Time and again, I’ve expressed this sentiment. The bond we share is one of parent and child, deeply rooted in family values.

2020 saw Sophia modeling for the digital advertisement campaign of Kim Kardashian’s thriving fashion brand, SKIMS.

Sophia maintained a close bond with Kris Jenner, frequently conversing with her, and also enjoyed a cordial relationship with Kendall and Kylie, Jenner’s daughters who are 29 and 27 years old respectively. At one point, the siblings generously gifted Sophia an exquisite heart-shaped diamond necklace for Christmas.

Sophia mentioned that she gets along well with everyone in her family, but she is particularly close to Kris, Kim, Kylie, and Kendall.

Nine years ago, the tragic event occurred, following an accident involving Jenner on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu where a fatal car crash took place.

The collision involved four cars and resulted in the death of Kim Howe, 70.

The LA County Sheriff’s Office found that Caitlyn, not Jenner, was speeding during the crash, despite no charges being filed against Jenner.

That opened her up to blame in civil lawsuits, which was later settled out of court.

Hutchins was featured heavily in the reality series, I Am Cait.

The show only lasted for two seasons, yet it offered brief insights into the unique lifestyle shared by Jenner and Hutchins.

Although they reside together, it should be noted that Hutchins clarified to The New York Times in the past that they were not romantically entangled. This sentiment has been consistently reiterated by them throughout the years.

Sophia firmly stated, “I have no intention to discuss my personal intimacies, unless the situation calls for it.

In 2024, Hutchins made his final public outing with Jenner at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington D.C., and Sophia was present alongside them.
