Caitlyn Jenner breaks golden rule at son Brody Jenner’s wedding to surfer Tia Blanco

Television personality Brody Jenner exchanged vows with his long-term partner, professional surfer Tia Blanco, on a Saturday event. His parents, Caitlyn Jenner, were also present at the ceremony.

75-year-old Jenner was seen attending a wedding, which took place at Linda Thompson’s residence in Malibu last weekend. Interestingly, only a day prior, he was also spotted out and about on a shopping trip with friends. This suggests that both events occurred within a short timeframe.

It appears that multiple sources indicated Caitlyn was one of about 60-70 invitees at the event, but it seems she may have made a common mistake at the wedding.

In April 2015, Caitlyn (formerly known as Bruce) unveiled her new identity, and later in July of the same year, she introduced herself as such. Recently, reports from TMZ suggest that Caitlyn attended a ceremony while donning a full-white dress.

In traditional settings, the color white is typically used exclusively for the bride; however, on occasions with a white theme, the entire bridal party might also wear white.

In April, an article in Vogue advised against wearing white to a wedding as it should be deliberately avoided. However, this advice apparently did not deter Caitlyn from doing so over the weekend.

The wedding photo taken from above clearly depicts Jenner wearing a pure white gown and carrying a handbag in a soft cream color.

In the picture, only the wedding staff in formal white shirt attire and a casual fellow with a reversed black baseball cap (wearing a white T-shirt) were the ones sporting white; there were no other individuals dressed in white.

At present, neither Brody nor his 29-year-old spouse has disclosed any details about their recent nuptials, nor about Caitlyn’s choice of attire for the event.

In an interview with Vogue in April, bridal stylist Anny Choi stated that, generally speaking, a formal dress isn’t required unless explicitly stated on the invitation.

As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but echo Micaela Erlanger’s sentiment: ‘So, as long as the dominant hue isn’t misconstrued as white, you’ve got the green light!’

Jenner continues to grieve deeply following the unexpected passing of her long-standing friend, Sophia Hutchins, in mid-July.

At the tender age of 29, Hutchins had a tragic accident while operating an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). This vehicle unfortunately collided with a moving car, causing her to be hurled into a deep ravine.

Sophia identified as transgender and publicly announced this in the year 2016, stating that Caitlyn served as a motivating influence for her decision.

In the year 2017, she eventually settled down at Jenner’s luxurious $3.5 million residence in Malibu. Despite persistent whispers about a romantic relationship between them, these speculations were promptly proven false.

Hutchins assumed the position of Jenner’s manager, replacing Kris Jenner (who was previously associated with Jenner) following their separation.

In 2018, Sophia added to the buzz when she referred to Caitlyn as her “companion” and confessed that they were practically inseparable.

On The Hidden Truth Show podcast, Hutchins clarified that he doesn’t consider their relationship romantic. Instead, he refers to them as business partners, with him serving as the executive director of her foundation.

Sophia explained, ‘We share many similarities, have the same perspective on the world, and complement each other exceptionally well because we push one another to grow. We’re not just partners in business; we’re also living together, caring for our shared dog, blending our families, and building a life as one.’
