Overview

Caesar Guide – Best Builds

As of version 1.2, Caesar – a warrior from the Sons of Calydon – is now available as a limited character. This physical Defense unit offers robust shielding to your squad, reducing damage taken and providing an anti-interrupt and attack boost. Since her effectiveness scales with impact, she’s not just a solid support, but also functions as an effective stun agent. Her versatility makes her an excellent choice for various team compositions due to her strong defensive abilities, supportive team play, and scalable impact. As such, Caesar is considered one of the top units in the game.

Below, you will find Caesar’s best W-Engines, Disc Drives, Stats, Skills, Bangboo, and teams!

  • As this W-Engine increases Caesar’s impact when attacked, which will be often if you’re making use of her skills to parry, then it will increase her Impact, making her even more effective as a stun unit. Not to mention, her kit scales based on her impact, so the buff will increase her overall capabilities.

(2) Shield Effect +15%.

Whenever a teammate activates either a Defensive Assist or an Evasive Assist, all fellow squad members temporarily boost their damage output by 15%. This benefit lasts for 10 seconds. However, multiple instances of the identical passive effect do not accumulate.

(2) Impact +6%.

Main Stats: IV. CRIT Rate | V. Physical DMG or PEN Ratio | VI. Impact

Sub stats in order of priority:

1.  CRIT Rate | 2. CRIT DMG | 3. ATK% | 4. PEN (If using PEN Ratio)

This enhancement significantly boosts Caesar’s ability to offer support, adding a damage boost along with an attack boost following an assist trigger by a squad member. The two-piece Shockstar adds extra impact, a crucial stat for Caesar since her skills grow based on it. Thus, this setup is ideal, assuming you can source energy regeneration elsewhere.

Option 2 – “Gladiator’s Resurgence

4 Piece Proto Punk

(2) Energy Regen +20%.

Main Stats: IV. CRIT Rate | V. Physical DMG or Pen Ratio | VI. Impact

Sub stats in order of priority:

1.  CRIT Rate | 2. CRIT DMG | 3. ATK% | 4. PEN (if using PEN Ratio)

In this construction, it bears a strong resemblance to the initial one, with the sole variation being the trade-off of the power boost from Shockstar for increased energy regeneration. This added energy regeneration enables Caesar to employ her EX Special Attack more frequently, offering additional opportunities for parries.

Skill Priority

ALWAYS PRIOIRITZE CORE SKILL FIRST!!!

Caesar Guide – Best Builds

It would be beneficial to focus on using Caesar’s unique ability first, as it enhances the effect of switching stances and also boosts its daze and damage potential.

Caesar Guide – Best Builds

2a. In your role as a defensive strategist, prioritize enhancing Caesar’s Defensive Aid. This ability inflicts a significant amount of disorientation, making it beneficial to boost its power along with her special attack.

3. Give more attention to her standard attack once you’ve improved her special and support abilities, as this will boost the total amount of damage she can deal and the chances of causing stun on her targets.

4. Prioritize her fourth ability less urgently, since it boosts Caesar’s capacity to impose more Daze on protected adversaries passively, which can be very beneficial in specific scenarios.

5. It’s better to concentrate on deflecting/countering attacks to accumulate the Daze status instead of evading, which should be your least concern.

Significant Feature: When you have at least two characters with Physical Attributes in your team, the Bangboo Chain Attack causes a 100% increase in Anomaly Buildup.

Collaborating with the team specializing in physical abnormalities, we’ll find it simpler to execute operations against such abnormalities, inflicting significant damage.

A – Booressure

One of the Distinctive Features: With a minimum of one Ally figure in your team, when Ether bubbles touch characters, they yield an extra 60% Energy for characters on standby.

If you find it challenging to maintain Caesar’s Extraordinary Shield (EX Special) more frequently for better parrying, consider using Booressure as it can assist you in doing so more consistently.

S – Red Moccus

Significant Attribute: If you have a minimum of two characters from the Sons of Calydon in your team, the power of your Active Skill boosts by 36%. Upon using an Active Skill to inflict damage on an opponent and subsequently defeating that enemy, the cooldown for that skill decreases by 4 seconds.

If you incorporate at least two team members from the Sons of Calydon, opting for this strategy becomes beneficial as it allows for significant damage infliction on bosses, thanks to the aid of Red Moccus.

In order for Caesar to function as a Stunner on any team, it requires another unit that can provide Defensive Support, like Jane, Ellen, and so forth. Consequently, any Bangboo characters compatible with those teams will be suitable. For instance, Rocketboo would be ideal if you’re deploying two fire units (Soldier 11 / Lucy), while Sharkboo is a better choice for two ice units (Soukaku / Ellen).

Optimal Team Comps

Team 1 – Anomaly / Sons of Calydon Team

Caesar Guide – Best Builds

The Calydon’s Sons-exclusive Anomaly squad, featuring members Caesar, Lucy, and Piper, is responsible for implementing all necessary additional abilities. When Caesar initiates Perfect Block, Retaliation, Defensive Assist, or a Basic Attack: Dead End, she inflicts a Debuff on enemies within an approximate 7-meter radius, escalating the damage they sustain from all teammates by 25% for a duration of 30 seconds. By utilizing two attack boosters, Piper can be transformed into a formidable offensive force, with Caesar serving as your crowd control specialist.

Team 2 – General (very versatile)

Caesar Guide – Best Builds

Caesar can be an effective addition to various teams, serving both as a stun and defensive unit. This versatility is made possible if at least one other unit on the team can activate a defensive assist – essentially, those who use melee weapons for attacks. Consequently, it’s likely that most of your existing or preferred units could work well in a team with Caesar.

Overall Thoughts

Caesar stands out among the game’s agents, combining exceptional stun abilities typically associated with offense, while still excelling in defense classification. Moreover, she offers potent shield and attack enhancements to the entire team. Essentially, she’s versatile, lacking significant weaknesses in any particular area, which makes her an excellent choice for building and maintaining relevance in the game for a prolonged period.
