Bushcraft Simulator Revealed, Will See You Foraging and Surviving on Xbox Series X|S
In a recent reveal, the gaming company Ultimate Games, along with developer A2 Softworks, has introduced “Bushcraft Simulator,” an engaging survival game that incorporates roguelike features. In this game, you’ll find yourself navigating through a dense forest floor covered in leaves and twigs, gathering berries, among other things.
As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “Immersed in a breathtakingly real bushcraft simulation, I find myself stranded on an untamed island, overgrown with harsh wilderness and isolated from the rest of the world. To survive, I must make every resource count as I navigate through the challenges that lie ahead.
In addition to gathering resources, creating items, and exploring various locations, you’ll need to defend yourself against wild animals in battle. Maintaining your basic survival needs will also be essential, such as finding food, water, warmth, and other necessities. For example, purifying water is a complex task that involves using charcoal and sand in a specific sequence to make it safe for consumption.
Establishing a campsite requires finding an appropriate sleeping spot, constructing a shelter, and lighting a fire for warmth and light. Be mindful while setting up the fire as its structure significantly affects its duration and intensity.
The game titled “Bushcraft Simulator” is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, and personal computers, however, an official launch date remains undetermined as of now.
