Bump Alert! Love Island’s Anna McEvoy Stuns in Sheer
Anna McEvoy was absolutely glowing on Friday night.
At the Australian Open in Melbourne, the Love Island celebrity was a sight to behold as she graced the Piper-Heidsieck champagne bar event.
In a graceful display, the 32-year-old expectant mother tenderly held her expanding belly, proudly highlighting it with a see-through, long-sleeved white garment.
She incorporated a cream-toned satin maxi skirt, coordinating with it, and donned a set of stylish black patent leather chunky flats.
Anna pulled her blonde locks off her face with a headband and carried a crossbody designer purse.
Instead of a bronzed palette, she chose a makeup look featuring bronze tones, paired it with a glossy nude lip, and accessorized with gold earrings.
Last year, Anna and her husband Michael Staples, who have been married for eight months, shared that they will be welcoming their first child into the family soon.
The well-known reality television personality announced thrilling news on Instagram, accompanied by a delightful video compilation.
In a heartwarming scene from last May, the newlywed couple was captured in Greece, where they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony. The joy on their faces suggested they were deeply in love, while Anna proudly displayed her expanding belly.
Initially, the video seemed like old clips showing Anna and Michael as youngsters. However, it later transitioned to scenes of Anna and Michael in their vehicle.
‘The baby is ten weeks old and 3cms tall,’ the podcast host said with a bright smile.
Anna and her partner were spotted ambling along the sandy beach, their hands linked together, with the expectant mother wearing a white crop top that accentuated her growing belly.
Additionally, other segments within the montage showcased brief glimpses of the sweethearts visiting medical check-ups, even offering a glimpse of an ultrasound.
Michael could be heard saying: ‘They said everything looks good.’
Anna wrote in her post, ‘For some time now, we’ve been hiding something… you’re already deeply cherished, my little one,’ accompanied by the hashtags #babystaples and #2025baby.
Subsequently, she admitted that such posts might pose challenges for individuals dealing with infertility.
She remarked, “We’re sending you an abundance of love because you’ll soon cradle a little miracle in your arms.
A multitude of Anna and Michael’s well-known acquaintances flooded the comments section to extend their heartfelt congratulations to the joyful pair upon hearing about their upcoming parenthood.
AFL WAG Rebecca Judd shared her ‘congrats’ alongside Anna’s podcast host Matt Zukowski.
Previously known Bachelor contestant Alex Nation, footwear creator Lana Wilkinson, and reality TV personality Lauren Dunn all expressed their happiness for the couple as well.
Anna and Michael got married at a glamorous ceremony at Corfu in Greece earlier this year.
Instead of getting married at a generic venue, they decided to tie the knot at the elegant Courti Estate, which is also known as a luxurious villa in Corfu, offering accommodation for nine guests.
Anna looked gorgeous in a Alin Le’ Kal wedding dress from the Melbourne couture designer.
Alongside his choice, the groom opted for an upscale appearance, donning a tuxedo by the premium tailoring brand Belancé, hailing from Sydney.
As they declared their union, the newlyweds found themselves showered with flowers following the bride carrying a beautiful bunch of white roses.
‘Our wedding day at The Courti Estate was magical,’ Anna told the Herald Sun at the time.
In a picturesque European setting, we experienced the fairytale wedding we had always dreamed of, surpassing all our expectations. Michael and I are overjoyed beyond words, living our blissful reality.
Our family and friends have shown an incredible outpouring of love by traveling to Greece to stand by our side.
Previously, Anna disclosed during her podcast ‘Where’s Your Head At?’ that the Greek ceremony she had was symbolic rather than a legally recognized union.
She confided, “I’ve got something to tell you, something I just made up my mind about this morning – I’m going to share it with you. You might have guessed it already, but let me confirm: Our wedding will take place in Greece.
In the spirit of transparency, I made the decision to legally tie the knot with Michael at our home in Australia prior to our departure for Greece. This was due to the fact that the celebrant we opted for the wedding wasn’t officially recognized where the ceremony was planned.
On April 28th, Michael and I visited the registry office in Melbourne, accompanied by both our parents. Our fathers served as witnesses during the event. She mentioned that it was indeed a unique, memorable experience.
Anna elaborated on the procedure for tying the knot at the registry office in Melbourne, noting: “It’s an enchanting historic structure.
The cost of the marriage registry is $500 for either a 6-person or 50-person room.
As reported by the influencer, the couple was asked to simultaneously declare their vows by standing before their parents and saying “I do” together.
Anna remarked, “It felt quite uncomfortable. Picture the scene where your parents and your in-laws are fixedly gazing at you, while you and your companion are standing there, interlocked hands.
Anna pondered that the whole encounter at the registry office felt excessively stiff and grave.
She expressed that it seemed overly solemn and made her feel slightly uncomfortable, adding that when speaking with Matt, she mentioned they could only manage a small, chaste peck instead of a passionate kiss during the closing moments of the event.
It was disclosed that Anna will be tying the knot on the picturesque Greek island of Corfu, as she got engaged to Michael in October 2022.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d share that my recent wedding venue was a beautifully revamped nine-bedroom manor, offering a homey stay for our beloved families and intimate circle of friends during the festivities.
In 2023, during her podcast, she shared that they had secured a deposit for a wedding venue in Corfu, yet neither she nor her partner, Michael, had ever visited the island of Corfu before.
Instead of traveling such a great distance, many people would find it difficult to make it to the couple’s wedding.
So an intimate engagement party for family and friends was held last April.
Anna became well-known during the second season of Love Island Australia, where she emerged as the winner alongside Josh Packham. However, their relationship ended in December 2020.
