Buffy the Vampire Slayer star celebrates “wild leap” in huge career move

Actress Eliza Dushku, famously known for her role in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” has made a significant career move about a year after she declared her departure from acting.

In my gaming world, I’d say: “Hey there, gaming buddies! You might recognize me from my days as Faith Lehane on Buffy and Angel. Guess what? I’ve just graduated with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Lesley University, right here in Cambridge, Massachusetts. So yeah, between saving the world and helping people sort out their heads, it’s been quite an adventure!

Previously known thespian posted a video of her graduation on Instagram, writing a heartfelt tribute to her kin and cherished ones while recognizing this significant achievement.

Earning my master’s degree (!!) is not just an accomplishment, but a long-held dream coming to fruition. It embodies personal development, vitality, and enthusiasm within me,” she expressed in her caption.

Reflecting on over nine years of personal growth and creating a fresh start, I am incredibly thankful for this precious instant in my journey. To the very best version of myself—for mustering the courage to step off the familiar path and transform that dream into reality—I express my heartfelt gratitude.

She expressed gratitude to her two sons and her husband Peter Palandjian for the small concessions they made and the love they showed daily in honoring and supporting her dream.

Dushku went on to say: “To my family, friends (both old and new), my peers/study partners, instructors/mentors, and community, I express my gratitude: for supporting me, motivating me consistently, and providing me with the generosity, fortitude, and freedom to fully engage in these years of clinical training.

Actress who was famously known for “Bring It On” earned her Bachelor’s degree in Holistic Psychology from Lesley University in the year 2020. She accomplished this academic milestone amidst the ongoing global pandemic, Covid-19.

During this challenging period, I’ve been reminded that everyone could use some support in navigating life. As the world becomes increasingly complex and unfortunately divided, it’s important to remember this. Keep pushing towards your aspirations!
