Imagine a unique scenario where a new animated series is set: a group of mobsters, but instead of typical gangsters, they’re all grizzly bears! This intriguing concept forms the backbone of Tubi’s show titled “Breaking Bear,” which offers a hilarious take on heavyweight dramas such as “The Sopranos.” Moreover, some well-known figures from the world of cinema and pop culture have already been roped in to lend their voices to these ursine characters and their associates.

Additionally, Elizabeth Hurley, known for her work with Fraser in “Bedazzled,” is cast as the “Wolf Queen.” She leads a wolf pack locked in a fierce rivalry with the bears whose increasing presence and destructive behavior pose a threat to the land she vows to safeguard. While she may act against the bears, she isn’t necessarily portrayed as a villain.

The character named Alistari, portrayed as the smallest of the bear family, bears an endearing resemblance to a classic teddy bear. However, with the slightest provocation, he transforms into a fearsome creature.

Breaking Bear Could Be The Next Animated Hit

As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming series, “Breaking Bear“, is my baby, along with Julien Nitzberg’s Evoke Entertainment and Tom DeLonge’s To The Stars Media. I’ll be donning the hat of showrunner for this exciting project. Fraser, Gellar, Gad, and yours truly will be the executive producers, joining forces with DeLonge, Stan Spry, Jeff Holland, and Bradford Bricken, as reported by Deadline.

A thrilling tale of a lawless, bear family on a mission to protect their forest home. They resort to criminal activities to thwart frackers, mobsters, and a dangerous wolf pack. As they delve deeper into the world of crime, they encounter biker gangs, an arrogant news anchor, and their own knack for self-destructive behavior.
