Bryan Greenberg’s Heartbreaking Decision Before Losing Home in LA Fires Revealed!

A few days prior to the premiere of his eagerly awaited new series Suits LA on NBC, actor Bryan Greenberg is disclosing that he recently lost his home in the Los Angeles wildfires.

In one of the many fires that ravaged Los Angeles, the 46-year-old actor and his longtime actress spouse, Jamie Chung, sadly found themselves losing their home.

Fortunately, the actor, along with his 41-year-old spouse and their three-year-old twin boys, managed to escape their house unscathed just before the fire engulfed it entirely.

In a recent interview with People, he shared what irreplaceable items he chose to take along as they evacuated their family, revealing their sentimental value.

During the fires, it felt strange as I found myself needing to grab something, but hesitated, wondering, “What should I take?” In the end, I ended up grabbing a bunch of photo albums, he confessed.

In moments of hardship, I found myself reminiscent. It struck me, as if asking, ‘What would I hold on to?’ – a question that echoed with a sense of irretrievable loss.

In early January, Chung posted a video on her Instagram story, showing the destruction in her local area.

Oh dear, it seems our entire community has been wiped out by the fierce fires. We are deeply thankful for the courageous efforts of our firefighters and first responders, hoping no more lives will be claimed in these devastating blazes. Please take care and remain cautious.

Greenberg replied soon afterward, ‘What truly matters is the safety of family. The rest is merely possessions. Thank you for your concern. Take care on your journey!’

A day after, he posted on his Instagram story, “Turns out it was just a nightmare. Fortunately, everyone in my family is okay. A big thank you to all the courageous firefighters putting their lives at stake. Be careful out there.

Greenberg reshared his friend Nichelle Hines’ Instagram story showing them entertaining their three-year-old twin boys, Jamie included, prior to a nerve-wracking evacuation. For about nine years now, the married pair has been living in a rustic home situated among the hills, which they apparently acquired together as early as 2013. However, there seems to be some ambiguity regarding exactly when Bryan purchased his bachelor residence.

In essence, Chung shared with Us Weekly on December 15 that Bryan is great because he gets the business side, but moreover, they’re a team who support each other. There’s no rivalry between them. Their bond is deep and wonderful, and she adores being his spouse.

In the City of Angels, extremely strong Santa Ana winds, peaking at more than 100 miles per hour in certain locations, ignited multiple wildfires. These fires have taken ten lives, razed over 10,000 structures, and prompted approximately 130,000 residents to leave their homes due to the danger.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel the weight of the devastating wildfire that has left some of my favorite stars displaced. Among those affected are Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anna Faris, Cary Elwes, Diane Warren, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Eugene Levy, Steve Guttenberg, Jennifer Grey, Ricki Lake, Matt Damon, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, and Adam Brody. It’s heartbreaking to see the homes of these talented individuals gone, but I hold on to hope that they will rise from this adversity stronger than ever.

The epic damage and economic loss is estimated to be between $135B-$150B, according to AccuWeather.

In the new spin-off of Suits, titled Suits LA, airing on NBC on Sunday, February 23, Greenberg takes on the role of Rick Dodsen, a character he plays. This series is a departure from the original set in New York City.
