BRYAN CRANSTON SET FOR WEST END RETURN
Bryan Cranston is set to make a triumphant return to the West End.
According to sources within the theatre community, it’s anticipated that Bryan Cranston, who is 68 years old and known for his role in Breaking Bad, will take on the part of Joe Keller in a fresh staging of Arthur Miller’s influential play All My Sons. This production will be helmed by Ivo van Hove, a Belgian filmmaker and theatre director.
This partnership signifies a reuniting of Cranston and van Hove, both 66 years old, who had previously joined forces for the highly-praised theatrical rendition of the 1976 movie “Network.
The show first premiered at the National Theatre in London back in November 2017, and later moved to Broadway. During its run there, Bryan Cranston received both the Olivier and Tony Awards for his exceptional performance as Best Actor.
According to industry sources, the Argo star is eager to return to the stage in London.
According to a source at TopMob, despite his achievements in both film and television, he’s always kept his passion for the theater alive.

Bryan really shines when he’s interacting with a live crowd, and trust me, you won’t want to miss his upcoming show.
In my professional journey, partnering with Ivo on our past project was undeniably a pivotal milestone that left an indelible mark on my career. Our shared creativity sparked a dynamic energy, and the anticipation for what we can collectively achieve in this upcoming production is palpable with excitement.
Cranston’s illustrious career spans television, film and theatre.
He became extremely well-known and won numerous Emmys for his role as Walter White on the TV show Breaking Bad, which aired from 2008 to 2013, receiving several awards for Best Actor in a Drama Series at the Emmys.
Apart from these, he is also known for creating the TV series “Malcolm in the Middle” and appearing in the Steven Spielberg movie titled “Saving Private Ryan”.
Known primarily for his work on A Little Life and the critically panned Opening Night featuring Sheridan Smith, Van Hove’s career is marked by both acclaim and controversy.
The initial performance night was cut short by two months because the producers stated that they were facing a difficult financial situation.
Last August, the International Theater Amsterdam officially ended its association with director van Hove, who had been at the helm of the company for over two decades.

The separation occurred merely weeks following an exposure suggesting a ‘climate of apprehension’ had emerged under his administration, accompanied by claims that he overlooked instances of harassment at the workplace.
The revival of “All My Sons” is additionally supported by Playhouse Pictures, a company that’s already known for presenting “Opening Night.
Initially presented in 1946, All My Sons is a three-act play that revolves around Joe Keller, a businessman who supplied defective aircraft components during World War II, leading to the tragic demise of 21 aviators.
As a fervent admirer, let me share that this production delves deeply into the burden of conscience, individual responsibility, and the ethical dilemmas inherent in the pursuit of the American Dream – issues I find myself grappling with as well.
The play first appeared on Broadway in 1947 under the guidance of Elia Kazan, and it has been restaged numerous times since then, with significant West End performances taking place in 2010 and 2019.

The 2010 West End revival featured David Suchet as Joe Keller and Zoë Wanamaker as his wife, Kate.
2019’s performance at The Old Vic featured Bill Pullman and Sally Field as the main characters, while Jenna Coleman took on the role of Ann Deever.
Mr Cranston’s representatives and Playhouse Picture Productions have been contacted for comment.
