Bruno Tonioli Reveals Why Being ‘Spicy’ is Key to Entertainment Success!

Renowned for his lively and vibrant demeanor, Bruno Tonioli has often attracted attention with his extravagant responses and bold comments.

Currently, a judge on Britain’s Got Talent has shared that his passionate style is intentionally maintained to keep audiences engaged and entertained.

Before the upcoming premiere of Britain’s Got Talent season 18 next week, the 69-year-old TV personality shared with TopMob: “I’ve never encountered any difficulties previously. There are boundaries that should not be crossed, but at times, one needs to add a bit of zest in an appropriate manner.

‘There’s nothing wrong with that—it’s comedy, it’s entertainment.

Instead of approaching a task with thoughts like, “Oh no, I can’t do this or that,” try reframing your mindset to focus on what you can do: “Instead, I choose to tackle this challenge with confidence and determination, focusing on the steps I can take, rather than dwelling on what I think I cannot accomplish.” This shift in perspective often leads to more productive action.

Trying to make everyone happy often leaves no one satisfied. It’s crucial to always be truthful and honest, even though there are certain paths you might avoid. In my 20-year experience, I’ve never encountered any issues here or in America.

As a die-hard admirer putting it in my own words: I’ve always believed that authenticity, unpredictability, and captivating performance are the keys to success on stage. The idea of rehearsing with a mental filter just doesn’t sit well with me—it’s all about being genuine, spontaneous, and keeping audiences engaged. The last thing any artist would want is to leave their audience feeling uninterested or bored.

‘Whatever I’ve done or said has always come from a good place; it’s never intended to shock.’

He additionally mentioned: ‘Professionalism, particularly behind the scenes, is quite evident. I’ve never witnessed any inappropriate conduct due to my consistent approach of treating everyone equally, even camera teams.’

For about half a century, these individuals have had familiarity with me, dating back to my time on film sets – both on camera and off.

In an informal setting, let me clarify my stance: Behind the scenes, I would not tolerate any behavior that I deem inappropriate. If I were to witness such acts or if I have in the past, I would take immediate action to address the situation.

I haven’t ever witnessed anything like that in any of the productions I took part in while I was there. To be clear, this is just my personal account. You can only speak based on what you’ve experienced yourself.

Although Bruno didn’t witness any unacceptable conduct, it doesn’t mean that every performer has been able to restrain their comments within appropriate limits.

Gino D’Acampo and Wynne Evans, well-known for their vibrant personas, have found themselves in the spotlight due to their actions.

This news, unveiled by The Mail, has left me pondering about the implications of such incidents on public figures’ careers.

Over the span of twenty years on television, the ex-Strictly judge gained fame for his enthusiastically expressive critiques.

He often exaggerated gestures, jumped out of his seat, and even fell off his chair in excitement.

Previously, he caused quite a stir by flouting the rules and pressing the Golden Buzzer not once, but twice in a single episode—a move that left his fellow judges utterly stunned. When Alesha Dixon inquired about his actions towards the show, he responded with, ‘I guess I’ve messed it up.’

Bruno mentioned that Simon appeared to act without restraint, as he expressed, “You can do whatever you want.” This was in response to Bruno stating, “Simon, I’ve never watched Britain’s Got Talent; is there a set of guidelines?” To which Simon replied, “Don’t fret dear, there are no rules. Just go ahead and perform.” It turned out that there were rules, but Bruno discovered this later on.

When someone inquired about his retirement plans, Bruno replied: “Retirement has never even entered my thoughts, as I’m still passionate about my work. I have no intentions of retiring; instead, I’ve recently committed to staying on for a few more years in the United States.
