Bruce Willis’ youngest daughter, 11, appears in rare photos with big sister Tallulah amid actor’s dementia battle

Two of Bruce Willis’ five daughters appeared together in rare photos on Tuesday.

Bruce Willis, age 70, was joined in a photo by his daughters Tallulah, 31 (from his marriage to Demi Moore), and Evelyn, 11 (with his wife Emma Heming Willis).

Tallulah took to Instagram to post two images with her little sister following a basketball game.

She captioned, ‘WE WON!!! big sister energy heckn yeah!! Love my bb @emmahemingwillis.’

The sisters coordinated their outfits with similar colors. Evelyn wore a red jersey and shorts, and Tallulah had on a burgundy sweater that said ‘RAP MUSIC’ in bold blue letters.

In addition to Tallulah, Bruce and Demi share daughters Rumer, 37, and Scout, 36.

Bruce Willis, known for his role in Die Hard, shares a 13-year-old daughter, Mabel, with his wife Emma, who is now caring for him as he bravely battles dementia.

In 2022, Bruce’s family announced that he had been diagnosed with aphasia, a condition affecting his ability to communicate.

By February 2023, family members confirmed he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a progressive brain disorder that affects how a person speaks, acts, and thinks.

In her new book, The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path, published in September, Emma shares her personal story of becoming a caregiver and how it changed her life.

In July, the mother of two began recording her audiobook. She posted a selfie from the studio on Instagram, announcing that she had finished the first of four recording days for ‘The Unexpected Journey’.

I’d been holding these thoughts inside for ages, and today I finally said them out loud. Even reading the first page, the dedication, brought me to tears.

As I read on, I kept thinking to myself how unbelievable it was that this was the topic I’d become so knowledgeable about.

It’s incredibly sad, but I’m thankful I can share my experiences. I hope what I’ve learned will help someone else who is caring for a loved one.

Earlier this month, she shared that her young children are sad about their father’s diagnosis of dementia.

‘I think they’re doing well, all things considered but it’s hard,’ she told Vogue Australia.

She explained that her children were deeply saddened by their father’s absence and missed him terribly, especially during significant life events. While it was hard, she acknowledged that children are surprisingly strong, though she used to dislike hearing that said because others didn’t grasp the extent of their pain.

The worried mother shared, ‘I’m not sure if my children will fully recover, but we’re all learning from this experience, both them and me.’

As someone who often advises families navigating difficult times, I’m hearing that Emma is facing an incredibly challenging situation. It’s not just the emotional toll of watching a loved one’s health decline, but also the immense pressure of handling a complex estate. It’s a lot to take on, and she’s clearly juggling a huge responsibility right now.

As someone close to Bruce, let me tell you, caring for him is so much more than just keeping his spirits up and helping him through each day physically. It’s also about managing the incredible wealth he earned during his amazing movie career – it’s a huge responsibility on top of everything else.
