Brooks Nader hits back at backlash over influencer casting on Baywatch reboot and addresses Kevin Costner rendezvous

She is a model, influencer, and reality star who is now starring on the new Baywatch reboot

But not everyone is happy Brooks Nader has been cast on the show.

Many online viewers are upset that the show’s reboot features internet personalities like Nader in the main roles, rather than professional actors. Critics argue the casting choice isn’t right for the series.

Nader recently addressed the criticism he’s received in an interview with The Daily Mail, explaining that having a variety of perspectives and voices on the show is a positive thing.

This new version of the show is Nader’s first major acting role, and it’s coming out at a time when social media is a common path to success in the entertainment industry – something that wasn’t possible when the original Baywatch was on television.

Nader, 29, recently told The Daily Mail that today’s world is different – people often have multiple careers and roles. He believes it’s great that someone can be an actor, a social media influencer, and have a real impact, and that social media has fostered this exciting cultural shift. He shared these thoughts at a Clarins event held at the Academy Museum on Friday.

Today, people have social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, which they didn’t have in the 90s. This allows them to share their opinions, and as long as they use these platforms positively, I think it will add a great energy to the show.

The show features a fantastic group of talented people and diverse perspectives, which I believe will really strengthen the series.

Production has begun on the new Baywatch movie, and Nader was recently spotted filming on Venice Beach with his co-stars Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, and social media personality Livvy Dunne. They were all wearing the show’s famous red swimsuits.

This swimsuit is reminiscent of the iconic ones worn by stars like Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra on Baywatch, and for Nader, it represents much more than just something to wear.

Wearing that lifeguard uniform was honestly a dream come true – the biggest moment of my career so far! It feels like my first really big break as an actress, and I’m so thrilled to finally show everyone what I’m capable of. It’s definitely a little intimidating following in the footsteps of those who’ve done it before, but I’m ready for the challenge.

Baywatch is a truly iconic show, and we’ve assembled an incredibly talented cast. I’m confident audiences are going to love it – it’s fantastic!

Nader also said alums from the original show had been ‘really supportive’ of the endeavor.

‘I think everyone is really supportive. I think that we’re going to do everyone justice and honor.

That show was a huge cultural phenomenon in the 90s, and we’re hoping to bring that same joy and positive energy back to audiences now.

People haven’t just been talking about Brooks’s appearance in a Baywatch swimsuit lately; there’s been other buzz as well.

She was recently spotted having a lively conversation with Kevin Costner at a private dinner held inside a restaurant at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas.

When asked about the rendezvous, Nader dodged the question.

I don’t have much to say about that, but I’m really looking forward to the Baywatch reboot, and I think you’ll all enjoy it.
