Brooks Nader has confirmed she’s part of the upcoming Baywatch reboot on Fox, which is scheduled for the 2026-27 season. She recently participated in the first table read for the show, marking a key step in production.

The 29-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram Stories of herself reading a script on a private jet, hinting that she’s been working on a surprise project.

Kate Upton graced the cover of the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, wearing a red one-piece, after previously appearing in the magazine in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant will play Selene, a witty and assertive lifeguard captain at Zuma Beach. She often clashes with her rival, Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell), because they have very different ideas about how to rescue people.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, McG will direct the first episode of the show, working alongside showrunner Matt Nix. Filming is set to start this spring in Venice Beach and at the Fox Studio Lot.

The exciting new version of the show, set by the sea, will bring back Jessica Belkin, Thaddeus LaGrone, and David Chokachi as Cody Madison – the same role he played in the original series.

The original Baywatch, featuring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, was initially canceled by NBC after just one season in 1990. However, it continued to air through syndication and ultimately became the most popular TV show globally, even though critics didn’t like it.

Hassie Harrison, known for her role as Laramie in the Paramount+ series Yellowstone (2020-2024), which also starred Kevin Costner, is also joining the cast of the new Baywatch.

Just recently, Nader was seen affectionately embracing the 71-year-old Academy Award winner at the grand opening of Zero Bond inside the Wynn Las Vegas on Friday night.
