Brooklyn Beckham’s former girlfriend, Lexi Wood, shares insights into the true nature of the Beckham family, as rumors swirl about an alleged ‘domestic disagreement’ within the household.

There’s been a family dispute going on, with Brooklyn Beckham, who is 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, aged 30, taking one position, while the rest of the family holds the opposite view.

Last week, tensions reached their peak as neither Brooklyn nor Nicola attended any of David’s 50th birthday events. It was reported by The Mail that a growing divide between Nicola could be the cause behind the deterioration in their relationship.

According to reports, Nicola appears eager to disassociate from the “toxic” duo of Victoria and David, as noted by reality star Lexi in her comments regarding her past dealings with them.

In a recent interview on The Viall Files podcast, Lexi, aged 27 and known for her role in the Bravo reality show Summer House, talked about dating Presley Gerber, the son of famous model duo Brooklyn and Cindy Crawford.

It’s quite amusing as those are the types of family backgrounds I’m accustomed to.

Lexi explained: ‘These families who are involved in the same field often share tips, collaborate when possible, and form such a tight bond that they even travel, reside, and engage in numerous activities together.’

‘That mindset is your family has your back period. I do feel like those families are great.’

Regarding the Beckham family, Lexi was asked about her feelings when she dated David Beckham, who has been named one of the world’s most attractive men.

As Lexi erupted in laughter, I gushed, “Gosh, it’s just mind-blowing to be with someone whose father is practically a legend!

She replied: ‘It seemed to me that he had always been Brooklyn’s father. Initially, it didn’t even cross my mind differently. Then, he simply became his father.’

‘They’re a beautiful family. Victoria, she’s the style icon. They’re the coolest family.’

She continued, “It’s wonderful that both families have nurtured such admirable children. Plus, sharing similar moral principles and values that resonate with me deeply, made the time spent with them truly enjoyable.

Instead of focusing excessively on past romances out of consideration for their current partners, Lexi pondered, “Brooklyn has found a wonderful partner, and I couldn’t be happier for him.

I tend to maintain friendly relationships with many of my former partners, and I genuinely hope they can find happiness in new relationships.

In April 2018, Lexi found herself thrust into the public eye after being seen sharing a kiss with Brooklyn in Los Angeles.

She modelled for the likes of Playboy and Vogue Japan before moving into reality TV. 

Despite allegations of a family disagreement, it is reported that David and Victoria feel deeply saddened by the divide. Contrary to rumors suggesting they were unfriendly towards Nicola, sources near the couple have denied these claims.

Supporters of the Beckhams shared with The Mirror that the pair consistently supported Nicola at each chance they got, and there wasn’t any resentment, only a profound feeling of sadness regarding the current state of affairs.

The source added: ‘They have gone above and beyond to help Nicola with her endeavours.’ 

It was mentioned that the family had gone to the debut of Nicola’s movie Lola in Los Angeles the previous year. They added that Victoria, despite having injured her foot and using crutches, wouldn’t have missed it for anything because she understood how crucial it was for Nicola, and her son.

Last weekend, as I eagerly celebrated David’s milestone 50th birthday, whispers of family discord started swirling around us like an uninvited storm cloud. The climax came on Saturday evening, when the grandest of parties was hosted at the illustrious Michelin-starred restaurant Core in London – a night that promised to dazzle, but left me yearning for clarity amidst the rumors of our beloved family’s strife.

At the high-profile event, it was Tom Cruise among other top celebrities who graced the occasion. However, unlike his siblings Romeo (age 22), Cruz (20), and Harper (13), it was Brooklyn, who typically attends such events, who was missing from this particular gathering.

Initially, it was reported that Brooklyn and Nicola decided to forgo the Met Gala to attend a birthday celebration instead; however, they ended up missing both events.

Initially, it seemed like Brooklyn intended to join David’s gathering, but upon feeling that Nicola was being unfairly accused of causing a strain in his family ties, he decided against attending due to discomfort.

I’ve heard rumors suggesting that the claims about Brooklyn and Nicola being turned down when they proposed a private celebration for David’s birthday, with Victoria included, might not hold water after all.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Nicola reportedly prefers to meet privately with TMZ due to some issues he seems to have with his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, and they want to avoid her presence for now.

Apart from the festivities in Miami last month, events in the Cotswolds, France, and London this week, Brooklyn was also unable to join David for his initial celebrations.

After being overlooked at his birthday celebration, it came to light that Brooklyn had also turned down his father’s invite for a ‘men’s fishing excursion’, which was planned to mark his father’s 50th birthday and include his brothers.

According to The Mail’s report, David arranged a brief vacation for Brooklyn about six months ago, but even though Brooklyn was already in the UK on that same day with Romeo and Cruz, he didn’t end up joining the trip.

Sources have suggested that Brooklyn’s decision was influenced by his American actress wife Nicola.

It has been said that Brooklyn was invited to join them long ago, yet he never showed up. Eventually, he arrived in London, but chose not to meet up. In the end, David enjoyed himself immensely with Cruz and Romeo.

David continued to extend a gesture of peace towards his son by sharing photos from their recent trip, accompanied by the caption on one post: “Your absence was felt, @brooklynbeckham.

According to the Mail, Kim Turnbull, Romeo’s partner, is being unfairly blamed as a convenient target in the conflict between Brooklyn and David.

For a short while, it’s clear that Kim and Brooklyn shared a strong bond, as evidenced by photos from 2016. However, rumors that they were romantically involved have no basis in reality, according to reliable sources who talked to The Mail.

To set the record straight, I, as Cruz, recently quelled the rumors by directly addressing an Instagram post featuring Romeo and Kim. The image in question sparked some gossip, but my response put those whispers to rest.

In a previously removed post, a user wrote: ‘Is it okay to date an ex of your brother? That sounds pretty casual.’

Cruz replied: ‘Brooklyn and Kim never dated.’

Over the weekend, a friend shared with Katie Hind from The Mail that this situation has no connection to Kim and instead solely revolves around Nicola.

‘All David and Victoria want is their son back – and they will be there to welcome him any time.’

According to the family friends, Brooklyn’s spouse has a habit of instigating disputes just prior to family gatherings, which often results in Brooklyn not being able to attend.

Some speculate that it is Nicola’s associates who may be responsible for the rumors suggesting that Kim is the reason behind Brooklyn’s family rift, with some going as far as stating that he declined to attend any gathering where Kim was in attendance.

According to a reliable source, Brooklyn had a strong bond with Kim due to their mutual friendships with Rocco. They often spent time together in a closely-knit circle. However, this relationship dates back several years. Despite the closeness they shared, there was no romantic involvement between Brooklyn and Kim.

It appears that Nicola dislikes Brooklyn associating much with the Beckham family, citing his past relationship with Kim as one of the reasons for keeping her distance from them.

She claims otherwise, yet it’s apparent that Nicola has been exerting control over him ever since their wedding. The family, even the brothers, are tired of this situation and want it to end.

‘The story being circulated among other news sources suggests that Romeo is in a relationship with his brother’s former girlfriend, which many find strange and awkward. This may be why they prefer to avoid the family whenever she is present.’

I find it disheartening and unfortunate that Nicola is using this false narrative to sow discord within our family circle. It’s essential to emphasize that there was never any romantic involvement between Kim and myself, contrary to what some might believe.
