He started as a photographer, then tried modeling, became a popular influencer, even dabbled in cooking – and now he’s building his own business. You definitely can’t say he’s taken the usual route to success, and I admire him for it!

On Thursday, Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, surprised many by appearing in an advertisement for Cloud 23, the hot sauce company he’s been developing as a passion project.

Brooklyn, 26, is trying his hand at acting, following in the footsteps of his wife, who is an actress. He appears with New York restaurant owner John Seymour in a short advertisement called ‘The Perfect Match,’ which is also meant to promote a business they’re both involved in.

Seymour’s Sweet Chick restaurants across the US are now serving a new sandwich: a sweet and spicy jalapeño pulled chicken, topped with Cloud 23, a spicy sauce from Brooklyn.

The New Yorker seems to take center stage when he and a visitor from Brooklyn share a taxi to one of his restaurants, and they quickly connect over how good the sandwich is.

On Instagram, some viewers praised Seymour’s performance, seemingly without noticing his fellow actor.

‘You’re a natural with the acting bro,’ wrote one. 

A second added: ‘We’re here for John the actor….mad good!!!!’ 

Elsewhere a third joked: ‘Lemme find out John’s got an Oscar on the way.’

Seymour quickly drew attention by making a veiled mention of Brooklyn’s father, David, with whom the influencer has a strained relationship.
