Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz showed off their continued strong relationship with a series of photos from their vacation, shortly after publicly distancing themselves from his family.

David and Victoria Beckham’s oldest son, 26, shared a loving tribute to his wife, 31, by posting a photo collage. The collection included a rather revealing picture of Nicola lying in bed topless.

The photos also revealed the couple savoring a nearly 200-year-old bottle of rare red wine and enjoying walks with their dog, Lamb.

The couple’s happy appearance follows a report that Nicola struggled to even say Victoria’s name during an interview where she was questioned about rumors of a disagreement over her wedding dress.

Nicola recently gave an interview to Grazia magazine, shortly after her wedding to Brooklyn in Palm Beach. The interview was originally published at the time and resurfaced on Monday.

The interviewer noticed Nicola struggled to say David and Victoria Beckham’s names directly. Instead of using their names, she referred to Victoria as ‘she, Victoria, uh’ or simply as ‘Brooklyn’s mom’ and David as ‘Brooklyn’s dad’.

She talked about Harper with warmth and ease. “I always wanted a little sister, and Harper is just the sweetest. I think I have the coolest little sister! She even sends me Snapchats,” she shared.

The interview originally mentioned, in passing, why Nicola, who was 27 at the time, ultimately didn’t wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria Beckham, even though she had initially planned to.

Last week, Brooklyn shared a lengthy post online explaining his ongoing family issues. He revealed that Victoria hadn’t met Nicola’s expectations with the wedding dress design, allegedly making changes very late in the process.

Following his statements, Grazia republished Polly Vernon’s interview with Nicola on Monday, sharing her comments about the dress with a close and detailed look.

Polly initially thought Nicola just wanted to wear a different dress, but now, after reviewing old statements, she believes Nicola felt let down by Victoria. The exact reasons for this disappointment, however, remain unclear.

Nicola explained she was really hoping to wear a specific dress, and was thrilled that Brooklyn’s mom offered to make it for her. Unfortunately, she didn’t get the chance to wear it after all.
