Brooklyn Beckham makes a U-turn on ‘olive branch’ to dad David as he and wife Nicola Peltz break their silence in joint interview amid family feud

In their initial chat following the uproar in Brooklyn Beckham‘s family, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have decided to speak out.

In simpler terms, it seems that David Beckham (age 50) and his spouse Victoria (age 51) have grown apart from their eldest child Brooklyn (age 26). The strain in the previously close-knit family is reportedly due to issues with Brooklyn’s wife, who is 30 years old and an heiress.

However, during an enlightening conversation with Glamour Germany, the duo disclosed challenges they faced due to external influences on their marriage, as well as counsel they got from Nicolas’ affluent parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz.

Initially, Brooklyn was silent regarding his father, but later on, he changed his stance and opened up about the significance of the name of his hot sauce, Cloud 23.

In my expert opinion, during his latest conversation, Brooklyn chose not to discuss his dad explicitly, instead focusing on the symbolism behind the number 23. He explained that this number holds significant meaning for us as it represents our special day of commitment and the age I was at the time.

The duo subtly suggested potential meddling in their connection and persistent rumors about a family dispute as well.

When questioned about safeguarding their relationship amid public scrutiny, Brooklyn simply said: “Disregard the chatter. Stay focused, work diligently, remain compassionate. Gossip will always exist. What truly counts is our mutual happiness.

Nicola also revealed she had taken her advice from her parents when it comes to relationships. 

She shared that her parents often advised her, “Always tell us the truth, and we’ll support you.” This idea has remained ingrained in her.

In any setting – be it with friends, loved ones, or in a romantic context – sincerity fosters trust, intimacy, and personal development. Genuine connections are forged when one has the courage to express truth.

When questioned about advice for young couples, Brooklyn opted not to reference his own parents and instead emphasized the importance of always being truthful, stating that there’s no greater pitfall than withholding information from one another.

In an eye-catching photo session, the couple was featured in Glamour Germany’s Love issue, posing intimately and affectionately together.

In a specific scene, Brooklyn chose to forgo a shirt to proudly display his numerous tattoos, some of which are dedicated to his family members and spouse.

In her own words, Nicola described love as a soothing sensation, a profound sense of security that envelopes you entirely. Prior to this, she had never experienced anything like it.

Speaking passionately, I declared, ‘One must tie the knot with their dearest companion, someone who makes every moment feel like being at home. For me, that special someone is none other than Nicola.’

Following a report by The Mail on Sunday, it was discovered that the siblings’ disagreement had escalated to the point where Brooklyn’s brother, Cruz, started reaching out to their regular social spots before visiting, so as to avoid any encounters with each other.

He reportedly reached out directly to the proprietors of these establishments, posing queries like, “Is Brooklyn present?” to confirm that everything was safe and clear.

Furthermore, it is stated that he also asked to be notified if his brother arrived later on.

Brooklyn resides in Los Angeles with his spouse Nicola, not in London as some might think. Unfortunately, their relationship has become so strained that he doesn’t inform his parents, David and Victoria, when he visits.

At the start of this month, the pair traveled to the United Kingdom for a photo session with the high-end Italian label, Moncler.

However, though the location was merely a two-mile distance from their residence in west London, they chose to conceal the visit – hiding it not only from others but also from their younger sister Harper, aged 13, who often featured in photos with Nicola on social platforms.

It’s reported that the Beckham family found out about Brooklyn’s visit when they saw a post on Instagram made by Nicola, detailing her work-related encounter with him.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m observing the latest developments within the Beckham clan, and it appears that efforts by Cruz to steer clear of his sibling are another sign of the profound divide within this renowned family.

He wrote: ‘It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown, and 17 to smile. Be kind and tell the truth.’

It’s not quite clear which ‘truth’ he meant, but many interpreted his statement as a subtle hint towards Brooklyn. Later on, the post was taken down.

For quite some time now, there’s been a noticeable absence of family gatherings, as the ongoing dispute within the family has become a matter of public concern. The rift deepened when Brooklyn missed his father’s 50th birthday events that took place a month back.

At Victoria’s 50th event, Brooklyn was there, but neither he nor his spouse showed up at her 51st gathering.

On my brothers’ special days dedicated to honoring our parents, I, Brooklyn, chose to remain quiet and let the celebration unfold without any words from me, twice over.

Brooklyn seemed to firmly declare his allegiance when he shared a photo on Instagram of him and Nicola on a motorcycle, captioning it: ‘My entire universe! Forever in love with you! Always choosing you, my love! You’re the most extraordinary person I know! Us forever, baby.’

The Beckham family has kept a low profile regarding their disagreement, yet rumors suggest they’re worried that Brooklyn might be gradually influenced more by Nicola.

As a source told the Mail last week: ‘Brooklyn is now being referred to as “the hostage”.

‘Those who love him fear that he is being controlled by Nicola, and it is heartbreaking.’

It is believed that tensions started before the £3 million wedding of Brooklyn and Nicola in April 2022, as it was reportedly turned down when offered a wedding dress designed by Victoria Beckham for Nicola to wear.
