Brooklyn Beckham has exclusive access to video from his wedding, and claims his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, tried to control the event and sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn Beckham, the oldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, made surprising claims in a recent Instagram post about his 2022 wedding in Florida. He alleged that his mother, Victoria, unexpectedly took over his first dance with his wife, Nicola, disrupting what should have been a special moment.
Brooklyn, 26, claims a wedding dance meant to be a special moment for him and his wife turned embarrassing when Marc Anthony unexpectedly invited him onstage. Victoria was already waiting, and Brooklyn felt the resulting performance with his mother in front of hundreds of guests was inappropriate.
Honestly, hearing him talk about it broke my heart. He said it was the most awful experience of his life, unbelievably humiliating. He described his own mother behaving in a way that completely embarrassed him, and it actually ruined what should have been the happiest day of his life – his wedding. It was just devastating to hear him share that.
Now, fans are clamouring to see the footage at the centre of the Beckham family rift.
However, people familiar with the situation say the video probably won’t be released, as Brooklyn is believed to be the only one who has it.

The couple famously banned phones from their large, luxurious wedding in Florida, which was attended by 500 people.
When everyone arrived, they had to give up their phones and tablets. These devices were locked in special pouches, and guests were given simple flip phones to take pictures.
Because of this, Brooklyn and Nicola are the only ones with the official videos from their wedding day. Any supposed ’embarrassing’ dance footage therefore only exists on videos they personally control.
Someone with knowledge of the situation said Brooklyn has complete control over a video showing Victoria dancing suggestively on him at his wedding to Nicola.
It’s easy to see why Brooklyn didn’t want the video released. He’s been quiet until now, but he’s finally sharing his story about his family, and especially how hurt he was by his mother’s actions on his wedding day.
Many people are now questioning how far Victoria went, and if the video is released, it could confirm everything Brooklyn has claimed is true.
Only Brooklyn has the legal authority to share that footage. Even though he’s under immense pressure, he might not want to revisit it, particularly with so much public attention.
After Brooklyn shared her story, the internet exploded with funny memes and videos making fun of Victoria’s dancing. According to The Sun, Victoria is deeply upset about becoming a source of online jokes.

On Monday, Stavros Agapiou, who is married to DJ Fat Tony and attended the wedding, confirmed that the chef’s story about what happened was entirely true. He was responding to a fan video discussing the situation.
In a now-deleted Instagram comment, he wrote: ‘I was there and she did, he’s telling the truth.’
Celebrity photographer German Larkin documented the couple’s extravagant wedding, and the stunning photos were later featured on the cover of Vogue magazine.
However, inconsistencies in Brooklyn’s story are starting to emerge when looking at the couple’s own recollections of their wedding day.
According to Vogue, the couple chose a version of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” – performed by South African singer Lloyiso – for their first dance as newlyweds.
Later in the reception, Marc Anthony performed his popular song, “I Need To Know.”
Vogue reports that Brooklyn then invited his mother to dance on stage, and she was soon joined by David and their daughter, Harper, who is ten years old.
This new information seems to disprove Brooklyn’s story about Marc Anthony inviting him onstage. Brooklyn claimed he was planning a romantic dance with his wife, but his mother supposedly rushed onto the dance floor and interrupted them.
In a statement, Brooklyn claimed his mother interrupted his first dance, saying they’d planned it for weeks to a specific romantic song. This differs from how he and his wife described the event publicly.

Brooklyn explained that he and Nicola decided to renew their vows only three years after their first wedding because Victoria had negatively impacted their original wedding day. Notably, the Beckhams were not present for the vow renewal.
They wanted to renew their vows to make fresh, happy memories of their wedding day, instead of dwelling on any past anxieties or awkwardness.
The conflict between the Beckhams has been building for years, playing out both privately and publicly. Each side is strongly trying to control the narrative and safeguard their image.
In a long Instagram post, Brooklyn accused his family of manipulating the story and spreading many falsehoods to maintain a perfect public image, always prioritizing the ‘Beckham brand’ above all else.
The chef explained that things became extremely strained when Victoria Beckham – famous as Posh Spice and now a successful fashion and beauty entrepreneur – unexpectedly cancelled the making of Nicola’s wedding dress right before the wedding, even though Nicola was thrilled to have her design it.
Despite Brooklyn’s statements about the dress, some fans are questioning how much input he actually had, noting that Nicola wore a highly detailed Valentino gown which took years to create.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE the work that went into Nicola Peltz’s wedding dress! I read in Vogue that her stylist, Leslie Fremar, said it took years of back-and-forth with Pierpaolo Piccioli’s team at Valentino! Years! Can you imagine? It wasn’t just a quick pick-off-the-rack moment; it was a total collaboration and a labor of love. It’s just…perfection, and knowing how much effort went into it makes it even more amazing!
Fremar mentioned the bride visited Rome twice and had multiple fittings in the US to make sure everything was perfect for her wedding.

On Tuesday, Sir David broke his silence following his son’s bombshell claims.
Appearing on CNBC’s Squawk Box, David discussed social media, noting its potential for both positive and negative impacts – something he’s often talked about in the past.
‘What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous.
‘But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons.
I’ve been fortunate to use my public voice to support UNICEF. It’s been a powerful way to raise awareness about the challenges children face around the world.
‘And I have tried to do the same with my children, to educate them.’
He explained that children learn through trial and error, and it’s okay for them to make mistakes. Sometimes, we need to allow them to learn from those experiences, even if it means letting them fail.
