Brooklyn Beckham declares he ‘will forever protect’ wife Nicola Peltz in latest dig at family amid ongoing feud

Brooklyn Beckham publicly vowed to always support his wife, Nicola Peltz, seemingly in response to ongoing tensions with his family.

Romeo Beckham, a 26-year-old chef hoping to make it big, shared a sweet message to his wife on Instagram this Sunday. He hasn’t been close to his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, for some time.

Sharing a romantic snap of himself kissing Nicola, he wrote: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day baby x.

‘I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to call you my Valentine every year x.

‘I love you more than you know and I will forever protect and love you x.’

Brooklyn shared a peek at their romantic celebration on Instagram, showing him and his partner enjoying two expensive bottles of wine—each costing £750—before having a cozy dinner together.

At the same time, Nicola posted a loving message of her own, sharing a sweet photo of her and her husband kissing.

She wrote: ‘Love you more every day!!

I feel so fortunate to have you as my Valentine, always and forever. You’re incredibly beautiful, and I cherish every moment we share together.

This happened shortly after Brooklyn unfollowed Gordon Ramsay, a close friend of his father, on Instagram. Ramsay had publicly urged Brooklyn to not forget his roots.

The celebrity shared a warning for Brooklyn during a Friday interview, but emphasized they still have a positive relationship.

Gordon, 59, thinks the public’s strong interest in his wife, Nicola Peltz, is why he’s decided to stop speaking to his parents, Victoria and David Beckham.

Brooklyn has stopped following the chef on social media, but hasn’t blocked him completely. People close to the Ramsay family believe Brooklyn and his wife are upset because the TV personality has talked about their disagreement in a way that makes them look bad.

You know, from what I’ve observed, Brooklyn and Nicola really seem to thrive on positivity. It’s clear they prefer to avoid any kind of criticism and really just want to surround themselves with good vibes. They’re building a life where negativity isn’t welcome, and honestly, who can blame them?

‘They must hate being talked about unless it’s gushing. Maybe they don’t like the truth.’

Ramsay thinks it won’t be long before Brooklyn understands how important his parents are to him.

You know, I’ve been talking to someone recently about stepping out on your own, and it really resonated with me. He’s making a brave move to build something new, and I truly admire that. It’s fantastic to pursue your own path! But my advice, and what I always tell people, is to never forget your roots – remember where you started and what got you here. It’s so important to stay grounded.

Look, I know it sounds harsh, but it’s just…it hit me so hard when he said it. It’s like, you live your life thinking they’ll always be there, you know? But one day…one day you realize they won’t. It’s this awful, sudden understanding that they’re not going to be around forever. It really got to me, honestly. It just…stuck with me.

Brooklyn and I have been in touch, and our relationship is going well. I really love him; he’s a genuinely kind person.

It’s tough when you’re really into someone, isn’t it? When you’re in love, you don’t always see things clearly. It’s easy to get swept up in the excitement, but things always eventually calm down.

The famous chef, whose son was a close friend of Brooklyn Beckham growing up, also complimented the Beckhams on how they raise their children.

He added: ‘I’ve seen first-hand just how good parents they are. David as a dad is just incredible.

They’ve both dedicated a lot of time and effort to their children, and I know how often they’ve helped Brooklyn out of difficult situations.

It won’t be long before Brooklyn realizes how much his parents truly mean to him.

Ramsay denied claims made by Brooklyn that his mother, Victoria, interfered with his first dance with Nicola Peltz at their wedding in April 2022 and behaved inappropriately while dancing with him.

The chef stated that they attended the wedding and confirmed it was a perfectly respectable event. They emphasized that there was nothing scandalous or out of line, and that everyone simply enjoyed themselves with music and dancing.

As a lifestyle observer, I’ve noticed something interesting: Brooklyn Beckham hasn’t responded to his younger brother Cruz’s recent attempt at a friendly gesture on Instagram. This is the first time since their family rift that Brooklyn hasn’t acknowledged Cruz’s outreach, and it definitely feels significant.

David Beckham recently posted photos of his brother for the first time since a public family dispute.

Senator Cruz shared the Billy Joel song “The River of Dreams” with a post, and its lyrics about losing ‘something sacred’ seemed to connect with the message.

Even though Cruz seemed to be trying to make peace with his brother in Brooklyn, the older man didn’t respond in kind.

He posted a collection of photos featuring his wife, Nicola, set to the song “You’re The First, The Last, My Everything” by Barry White – a clear romantic gesture.

Brooklyn’s photos showed what he was currently up to, while Cruz preferred to share pictures from the past.

Cruz shared an old black and white photo of himself and his brothers when they were kids. The picture also includes a shot of all his siblings, including his 14-year-old sister Harper, all dressed up in beekeeping suits.

The mix of old and new images featured the Billy Joel backing track.

The song expresses a feeling of loss and a desperate search for something deeply important that’s been taken away. The singer feels incomplete and hopes they don’t spend their whole life trying to recover what was stolen.

The post comes after the Daily Mail reported Brooklyn still has the ‘brotherhood’ tattoo.

Romeo, age 23, and Cruz famously got the same tattoo in 2023. Even though the chef has distanced himself from his family, the tattoo was still noticeable when he was out and about on Tuesday.

Brooklyn still has the tattoo of a ballerina on his leg, which he got to remember his sister, Harper. However, he’s had the tattoo of the word ‘dad’ removed or covered up with new ink.

On January 19th, Brooklyn shared a lengthy and critical statement on Instagram, explaining that he doesn’t intend to make amends with his family.

He blamed his mother, Victoria, for problems with his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, and criticized his father, David, for prioritizing how things looked to the public and business deals over everything else.

Recently, Cruz shared a photo with his mother, Victoria, on social media. This appeared to be a show of support following accusations made by his son, Brooklyn.

In December, Cruz said his family had been blocked on social media by Brooklyn, after reports surfaced that they had unfollowed him. He stated, ‘My parents would never unfollow me… let’s be clear about that. They woke up to find they’d been blocked – just like me.’

Brooklyn stated his brothers suddenly cut off contact with him last summer, which goes against the previous claim.

Brooklyn shared on Instagram that he believes his parents have been attempting to sabotage his relationship with Nicola and have been controlling him throughout his life.

Marc unexpectedly pulled Brooklyn and then Victoria onto the dance floor during the wedding, disrupting a special moment Brooklyn and Nicola had planned.

According to reports, the singer shocked guests by inviting what he called ‘the most beautiful woman in the room’ to dance – and it wasn’t the bride, Nicola, but Victoria Beckham, better known as Posh Spice.

Nicola was heartbroken watching Marc dance to a love song on stage, and she left the room crying.

According to DJ Fat Tony, who played at the wedding, Nicola’s family confronted her, and Brooklyn looked embarrassed before going to find his wife following an uncomfortable dance.

Nicola’s billionaire father Nelson has also broken his silence on the Beckham feud.

Oh my gosh, I was there – well, not there exactly, but I watched everything from the WSJD Invest Live event in West Palm Beach! And he – you know, the legend himself, 83 years young – actually talked about all the family stuff! I couldn’t believe it! He did a whole Q&A and just… opened up. It was everything!

Nelson mentioned his daughter and the Beckhams are a personal matter he won’t discuss today. He did share that he thinks his daughter and her husband, Brooklyn, are wonderful and hopes they have a lasting and happy marriage.

When asked if he offered the couple guidance during a tough time, Nelson said he does, but also mentioned they sometimes offer advice to him.

Nicola Peltz’s father is significantly wealthier than David and Victoria Beckham. He has a net worth of $1.6 billion, while the Beckhams are worth $680 million.
