Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Help LA Fire Victims Before Romantic Date Night

On Thursday, Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz took some time for a well-earned evening out together, following a day spent aiding those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.

The oldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, who is now 25 years old, along with a 30-year-old heiress, uploaded photos and live content on Instagram from the Pendry Hotel located in West Hollywood. Notably, various brands provided items for distribution to those in need at this location.

Fortunately, the couple’s 3.8 million dollar condo managed to stay clear of the destructive fire, as a picture taken by the chef from his window earlier this month showed the approaching flames. His concerned parents expressed deep sadness over the destruction.

In 2022, the newlywed pair orchestrated the occasion with assistance from their own charity, Yogihouse, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs from overflowing Los Angeles shelters and unnecessary euthanasia.

In a casual style, Brooklyn sported a hat bearing the charitable organization’s label, urging his audience to participate in the upcoming event while expressing gratitude towards the contributing brands for their generous donations.

After their diligent efforts, the sturdy fellow put on a double-breasted, rich-brown coat, pairing it with a crisp cream shirt in preparation for numerous photos before his evening out.

Brooklyn captioned the post: ‘Date night’. 

Instead of spending all their time at one place, this couple splits their days among three locations: the Beckham residence in London, Nicola’s parents’ property in Palm Beach, Florida, and an upscale apartment within a prestigious L.A. condo complex, which Rihanna purchased for $21 million and now shares with the Peltz family.

Before moving to Brooklyn, Nicola lived independently in her own apartment in Los Angeles. However, they currently share access to a family estate, which is under the ownership of Nicola’s mother, Claudia.

Claudia acquired an elegant three-bedroom, five-bathroom apartment situated on the eleventh level of The Century building, located in Century City, back in 2012, at a cost of $3.8 million.

One of Los Angeles’ most elite celebrity condos, The Century, has hosted notable figures such as Denzel Washington, Paula Abdul, and Candy Spelling both in the past and present.

In the meantime, Brooklyn’s parents express their deep sadness as the ongoing wildfires wreak havoc in Los Angeles.

The couple has a deep bond with the city, as they resided there during the time David was part of the Los Angeles Galaxy football team.

Earlier this month, fashion designer Victoria expressed on Instagram that witnessing the destruction and sorrow brought about by the wildfires was deeply saddening.

Our family deeply cherishes Los Angeles, and our sympathies go out to all those impacted, particularly those who have suffered the loss of their homes or loved ones.

Dearest everyone, we’re deeply appreciative of the courageous firefighters and emergency workers putting themselves in harm’s way to safeguard us all. Take care and watch out for one another in these challenging times. Warm regards, Victoria.

David, Brooklyn’s father, too posted on Instagram about the fires, expressing: “LA holds a unique significance for my loved ones and me.

As a deeply saddened fan, it’s gut-wrenching to start my day with news of more tragic fires and the harrowing images that accompany them. My thoughts are with all those affected, especially my friends and colleagues who are battling these destructive flames head-on.

I extend my heartfelt sympathies to everyone impacted, along with their families, and I’m deeply grateful for the bravery shown by the first responders and emergency services in this difficult predicament.

Sending all my love and please support organisations helping on the ground.’ 

Brooklyn and Nicola got rid of their own $10.5million Beverly Hills mansion in 2022.

In June 2021, they acquired a piece of real estate, but 14 months after, they decided to offload it for $9.25 million. However, the sale resulted in a loss of approximately $1.25 million for them.

 Nicola later admitted that the purchase, five months after they began dating, was ‘silly.’

She explained to Cosmopolitan that they decided to sell it because initially they thought, “We might head off to Florida for a bit.” But then they joked, “Nah, we were just fooling around, we actually need to be in LA for work instead.

‘It was so silly of us. And now we’re saving up money to get our dream house.’

In just a few hours, a wildfire burning to the north of Los Angeles surged beyond 10,000 acres, with whirlwind infernos appearing. I’ve been advised that around 50,000 fatigued residents are now facing fresh evacuation orders due to this rapidly spreading blaze.

On Wednesday, the blaze, known as the Hughes Fire, which started in the hills close to Santa Clarita, near Lake Castaic, rapidly expanded from a mere 500 acres to an astonishing 10,176 acres.

As a devoted follower, I found myself among the 31,000 individuals who received compulsory evacuation notices. Additionally, another 23,000 of us were advised to remain vigilant and contemplate leaving our homes due to high alert status.

Video footage captured near the fire’s perimeter shows whirlwinds of flame, resembling tornadoes, forming as hilltops were consumed by intense, fiery red blazes.

Large amounts of smoke rose up across various residential areas, with helicopters releasing countless gallons of water from on high, trying to quench the fire and prevent it from spreading further.

Over the past three grueling weeks, I’ve been tirelessly fighting against the relentless flames that have ravaged Southern California and Los Angeles. Last week alone, vast swaths of prime real estate stretching from the Pacific Palisades to Malibu and Pasadena were reduced to ashes.

Despite the region being under a red flag warning, winds weren’t moving as quickly as during previous fires, providing an opportunity for firefighting planes to release approximately 10,000 gallons of fire-retarding liquid.

According to LA County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone, who spoke on Wednesday, the circumstances we’re currently facing are significantly distinct from what they were just 16 days prior.
