Brittany Mahomes Reveals Stunning Nursery for Baby Golden with Major Retailer Collaboration!
Brittany Mahomes shared a peek at the enchanting nursery she created for her baby girl, Golden Raye, with fans.
On Sunday, January 12, I was blessed with the arrival of our little girl in the world, alongside my husband, NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes. We eagerly anticipated her homecoming, ready to welcome her into our lives.
30-year-old partner of the Kansas City Chiefs shared insights with People Magazine, discussing their collaboration with Crate & Kids to create a comfortable nursery for their upcoming child, as the due date approaches.
In a light beige woven shirt and white trousers, the mother of three gracefully held her growing belly while standing next to her daughter’s crib. She showcased the sleek yet contemporary pink decor in an effortless display.
She shared with the Golden outlet that since our life is often busy, what with taking care of two energetic children, we aimed to create this area as a peaceful and tranquil sanctuary.
She mentioned, “I’m drawn to a warm, introspective ambiance, and I found the muted dusty rose color to be calming and a perfect fit for me.
Golden’s freshly decorated room includes a cozy cream rocker and a spacious wardrobe with six compartments. Moreover, there’s a sweet blush-toned changing area, complete with a fluffy bunny ornament.
In my space, I adorned a wall bathed in sunlight with a motivational poster, its vibrant coral hues echoing the warmth of the sun. To add a hint of opulence, I introduced a table lamp with a brass base, casting a warm golden glow. The message it bore was simple yet powerful: ‘Let your light shine.’
As I reminisce about the initial spark that ignited my decorative ideas for our shared space, I can’t help but recall how Patrick and I collaborated on choosing items that made us both feel at ease, creating a comfortable atmosphere together.
The brunette asserted that she primarily spearheaded idea generation for the design team, but Patrick’s input was crucial when it came to selecting specific pieces and options. As we are both heavily involved in the nursery, we made an effort to ensure it felt welcoming to us both.
Across the room, there stood a soft pastel pink wall, decorated with three floating shelves laden with toys, plush animals, books, and an alphabet board made of wood. As a tribute to Golden Raye, a setting sun cutout was included as a decorative element.
As a trusted confidante to Taylor Swift, I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing her creative process up close. One exciting project we worked on together was collaborating with Crate & Kids. In our collaboration, I offered a selection of ideas that served as inspiration for their final room designs. The outcome left me utterly amazed – I couldn’t help but be ‘blown away’ by the breathtaking results!
Collaborating with Crate & Kids for our nursery was a fantastic choice due to their exceptional Design Desk offerings. They skillfully created stunning visuals of the nursery, tailored to the inspiration I provided, leaving us utterly impressed by their design talent.
By clearly showing the link between the solar concept and her child’s name, the star openly acknowledged that Golden Raye’s name did, in fact, serve as the inspiration for the theme.
To honor the NFL stardom of Golden Raye’s father, a cozy little football plush toy was set on a bookshelf alongside books, wooden blocks, and an array of animal stuffed toys. A cheerful sun-shaped accent adorned the shelf, nestled next to a succulent plant.
Brittany mentioned that the design was influenced by her baby’s name, and there were numerous thoughtful details incorporated to complement the theme. She found some adorable items at Crate & Kids that perfectly matched the atmosphere she wanted to create.
Additionally, the star highlighted several pieces of furniture that she considered essential based on her experience as a mother of three children – Sterling Skye (3 years old), and Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes II (2 years old), who are shared with Patrick.
Having had two children, I understand just how much time one spends seated in such chairs,” she mentioned. “A cozy seating area is essential, and I highly recommend the Nessa Sherpa Glider from Crate & Kids; it’s incredibly comfortable and fits beautifully into that space.
Brittany mentioned, “Moreover, the versatile ottoman can be moved around, which is essential given the height difference between us. It’s great that we can adapt it for whichever person is sitting in the chair.
With over three years under her belt as a parent, the co-owner of Kansas City Current confidently stated that she was well-aware of superfluous decor items to avoid this time.
She mentioned that every newborn has taught her that you require less than you might initially believe, particularly during the initial stages, which was her observation to share.
Of course, the Texas native spilled her own advice for future mothers-to-be.
She advises new moms to prioritize essentials for their infants, such as providing a crib for growth and a glider for nighttime soothing. Additionally, she suggests including smaller necessities like bassinets, diapers, onesies, and adorable clothing. Lastly, she encourages adding larger items to the registry in sizes suitable for when the baby grows older.
Brittany shared that she was thrilled at the prospect of growing her family to five members, and her toddlers were equally ecstatic about the arrival of a new baby sister.
At that point, she mentioned that they were both thrilled about getting a baby sister, despite Bronze being somewhat young and not yet comprehending it all completely, he was eagerly anticipating the event.
She mentioned that Sterling is an exceptional older sister, and she enjoys visiting the baby’s room to play with the newly acquired toys.
Brittany and Patrick fell in love during their time at Whitehouse High School in Texas back in March 2012. They went to their prom as a couple the following year.
