As a dedicated follower of Brittany Cartwright‘s journey, I can’t help but admire her strength and resilience. After years of sharing her life with us on reality TV, it seems that this chapter is taking a turn for the real, and I must say, she’s handling it like a true southern belle.
A few days after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright is carrying on by spending an evening with friends.
35-year-old television personality, noticeably moved upon meeting her separated spouse, 45, during the filming of their series ‘The Valley’, displayed a broad grin as she departed from Craig’s eatery on Friday.
Originating from Kentucky, she adorned a fitted dress in a cornflower shade, accentuated with green trimmings and a cutout at the bust level. She complemented her look with high-heeled sandals of the same color.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must say, I admire the effortless elegance of the ex-Vanderpump Rules star’s beauty look. She sported a subtle, rosy pink lipstick that complemented her fresh and natural makeup vibe. Her long, golden tresses were gracefully styled in loose waves, adding a touch of casual sophistication to her overall appearance.
The former waitress carried a small Louis Vuitton purse.
A photo shared in Cartwright’s Instagram Stories reveled she spent the evening wining and dining with The Valley co-star Janet Caperna, 34, and This Side of the Hill podcast host Jared Lipscomb.
Caperna looked relaxed in a navy blazer and a low-cut camisole.
Lipscomb looked dapper in a navy and white striped button down shirt.
Leaving the restaurant, journalists inquired about her divorce, to which Cartwright responded that she chose to terminate the marriage as she felt it was time to ensure it was the correct decision for both parties, given they share a child.
‘Hopefully, we can co-parent good. That’s the goal right now.’
She declined to say whether she was ready to date again.
Cartwright and her soon-divorced partner have been jointly hosting their “When Reality Hits” podcast. However, since they’re no longer married, adjustments will be made to the show too.
In the future, Jax and I will both share control over the podcast equally. This was explained during the podcast’s episode on Friday, August 30, as she announced her choice to file for divorce.

In 2019, their previous relationship led them to marry, and they share a three-year-old son named Cruz. Cartwright is seeking primary legal and physical custody of the child.
They haven’t shared any public statements regarding their separation. Instead, more information about it might be revealed in the second season of The Valley, which is now being filmed.
Cartwright stated, “When you watch the series, you’ll understand what happened, but let me tell you, this season has been the toughest for me to film compared to any other. I hadn’t anticipated experiencing such deeply personal and agonizing situations while being under public scrutiny.”
