In her autobiography, titled “The Woman Within Me,” published in October 2023, she expressed her bitterness towards her father Jamie Spears, aged 71, following his appointment as the legal guardian for her conservatorship case back in 2008.

She asserted that Jamie frequently commented on her looks critically and made her follow a restrictive diet, primarily composed of chicken and canned vegetables, for a span of two years.

Britney Spears discussed the emotional experience of having an abortion at the age of 19, as her former boyfriend, Justin Timberlake (who was in a relationship with her from 1999 to 2002), was not supportive of the pregnancy.
