Britney Spears had a worrying meltdown as she slammed her ‘fake friends’ for criticizing her looks.

On Tuesday, Spears (aged 43) posted on Instagram a note addressed to those commenting on her looks.

The popular singer, said to have parted ways again with her former partner, Paul Soliz (age 37, who was previously incarcerated), penned an extensive message aimed at those criticizing her following the removal of a prior post she had shared.

A few days ago, she posted a video that caused some fans to worry, as it showed her with slightly damaged nails and untidy beach-styled hair.

In her outburst, the singer defended herself against critics who teased her about her hairstyle, asserting that she feels attractive.

She added that those who claimed to be her closest friends but have since acted differently towards her, are merely doing so because they are extremely envious of her.

At the beginning, she shared that she was feeling ‘so d*** excited’ for the spring season.

Later, she responded to those who had written ‘extremely disheartening remarks about my appearance’, saying: ‘I genuinely empathize with you all.’

As an ardent admirer, I proudly proclaimed that my tresses were a sight to behold, yet I must confess, a chill has taken hold of me, causing my voice to carry a subtle British lilt as I speak.

According to the pop star, she stated that she wouldn’t be able to cross beyond the southern boundary for several months because she felt restricted or delayed.

She’s mentioned that she hasn’t been able to visit Mexico for the past four months, as her health and happiness primarily depend on travel. She added that she currently has a minor virus.

She wrote, ‘They’ll go to great lengths to prevent me from living my best life, but I pity such individuals.’

At the end, she concluded: ‘Hopefully we can all be kind to one another.’ 

Later on, she posted again and revealed in the caption that she’d been battling a ‘severe flu’ lately, but now she’s ‘on the mend.’

During the weekend, she shared a video that raised some eyebrows. In it, she was speaking with a British accent and discussing her nail care.

Audience members noted changes in her teeth appearance and mentioned that her speech seemed more juvenile-like.

Earlier on Tuesday it was reported that Spears split from her boyfriend Soliz for a second time.

According to a source who talked to TMZ, the popular music star ended their relationship with Soliz close to Valentine’s Day in February.

The former pair previously split in July 2024, before briefly reconciling in February.

It remains unclear what led to the separation between the couple, but those close to them suggest that this time, it appears to be a definitive and lasting parting.

It appears that Paul is said to have taken his own items from the house they shared in the Los Angeles district, a place where they were previously cohabiting as a couple.

A little over a year ago, in May, there were worries about Spears’ mental health after photos emerged showing her without shoes near the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, allegedly following an argument with Paul.

In the year 2023, Paul initially met Britney as he started his job at her residence, handling household chores and upkeep duties.

With the passage of time, matters grew increasingly grave, and it was observed that Britney was seen spending leisure time with Paul’s kids at an indoor play area.

In February, they were seen together again approximately seven months following their initial separation, this encounter came after reports suggested that she was worried he may have been leveraging her for popularity.

Britney Spears accompanied him along with two of his children to the Lily Pad Playground, nestled within the San Fernando Valley.

Based on inside sources, it’s reported that the high-end SUV is the very same car the singer purchased for Paul, following just a single month of dating.

After our visit to the indoor playground, it’s said that the artist behind “Toxic” took care of the tab before we moved on to our next spot.

Over the past instances, Spears has been seen accompanying several of Paul’s kids on various occasions. In the month of August 2024, she spent some quality time with them at Sky Zone, located in Thousand Oaks.

In October of the previous year, Nicole Mancilla, who had been married to Paul for eight years, decided to file for divorce following allegations that labeled him as a non-custodial parent to their nine children.

Last July, a source shared with TMZ that Britney Spears and Paul Soliz had parted ways approximately three weeks prior, saying, “Britney and Paul ended their relationship about three weeks ago.

Once the singer discovered that her ex-maintenance worker-turned-boyfriend was merely exploiting her for a lavish lifestyle, their relationship had come to an end.

After discovering his true nature, the star chose to part ways with the former convict and subsequently eliminated his name from the guest list for her luxurious estate.

In my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, one factor contributing to the split was the complexities arising from my shared custody of Preston, age 19, and Jayden, who is 18, with my former spouse, Kevin Federline.

An anonymous source shared with DailyMail.com that she prioritized her kids and personal welfare above Paul, as they hadn’t seen eye-to-eye and unfortunately, he didn’t offer the respectful treatment she deserved.

She realized that he was merely a backup option, not someone significant in the long run. Yet, what matters most to her is regaining contact with her kids, and that’s exactly what she has achieved.

Apart from being attracted to him initially, she also noticed that Paul had a poor track record as a father, which significantly turned her off. Moreover, she was well aware that continuing the relationship could steer her towards unfavorable circumstances. In essence, his past actions were a clear reflection of who he was.

In May, a situation at the Chateau Marmont ignited concerns regarding Spears, with the couple being noticed at this famous hotel. During this instance, the pop star appeared to be headed towards emergency services, accompanied by someone else.

According to sources who spoke to Us Weekly, close associates of Britney have expressed concern about Paul’s motives, with one source stating that they believe he is not suitable for her.

Her on-and-off romance with the ex-felon comes after her divorce from Sam Asghari.

The movie director, known for his mischievous ways, put an end to rumors about who might be considered for the role of the partially retired pop star, including Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Millie Bobby Brown, Sydney Sweeney, and Addison Rae, among others.

‘None of this is true,’ he tweeted in late March.
