Britney Spears declares she’s ‘married’ again in bizarre post one year after her divorce

Fans were left puzzled when Britney Spears posted pictures of herself dressed in a wedding gown and veil, hinting that she had gotten married – but this time to no one other than herself, a year after finalizing her divorce from Sam Asghari.
42-year-old pop sensation shared a video on Instagram on Sunday, showing herself in a stunning white silk wedding gown and matching lace veil.
Instead of marrying a husband, the Toxic singer shocked fans by revealing that she had married herself.
In a post, she said: “On the day I wed myself… Although it may initially appear odd or foolish, I firmly believe it’s the smartest thing I’ve ever accomplished!
The singer was seen posing in front of the camera in the bridal white look and adjusting her veil.
Britney paired her gown with a set of sleek black pumps featuring pointed toes, and let her golden hair fall in loose waves around her shoulders.
For the special event, the mother of two adorned herself with a delicate gold necklace and applied her trademark black eyeliner.
The clip was set to ‘Fields of Gold’ by Sting.
She also posted a snap of an empty church with no caption.
Afterward, she posted a video and followed it with a relaxing clip from her poolside, where she was lounging in a bright yellow swimsuit, soaking up some rays on a sunny day.
Asghari filed for divorce from Spears last year in August after 14 months of marriage.
The divorce was officially finalized in May when the pair reached a settlement.
In the meantime, speculations about Asghari’s love life emerged when he was seen at a Los Angeles park in the company of a fair-haired woman during September.
