Police are speaking out on Britney Spears‘s shocking DUI arrest.
California Highway Patrol officials said the 44-year-old singer appeared to be impaired when officers stopped her car on Wednesday, leading to her arrest.
According to a police report obtained by the Daily Mail, officers administered several field sobriety tests to her before making the arrest.
The California Highway Patrol reported that Britney Spears was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of both alcohol and drugs.
Police are still waiting for the results of chemical tests, which will help determine if Britney Spears had been using any substances.
