British TV star lands role in The Simpsons feature-length Christmas episode

In honor of its 35th anniversary, the animated sitcom ‘O C’mon All Ye Faithful’ will present a special, extended Christmas episode that includes performances by both a mentalist and an illusionist – a first for the series.
In the tale, Brown makes his way into Springfield with the intention of boosting the townsfolk’s morale. By employing clever mental strategies and stagecraft, Homer unintentionally falls under a spell and comes to think that he is none other than Santa Claus himself.
According to the plot summary, it triggers a series of delightful events that make people reconsider their beliefs and ponder the essence of ‘miracles’, while interspersing humor and funny incidents throughout.
Brown excitedly shared, “This new role is hands down the greatest event in my life thus far!” He was deep into crafting his latest production, ‘Only Human’, when the phone rang with an unexpected offer. Sworn to secrecy for now, he couldn’t help but share the news with everyone he crossed paths with.
I pondered over whether my achievements had soared to an unprecedented height where writing a new show might no longer be necessary, but I’ve been graciously informed that isn’t true. I’m open to the idea of performing under the spotlight with vibrant yellow makeup.
Brown’s part stands out significantly among other guests on “The Simpsons,” as per writer Carolyn Omine. She notes, “In terms of dialogue and screentime, it could be one of our most extensive guest appearances ever. And he is simply outstanding, captivating, and extremely amusing in the episode.
The heartwarming special ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ is set to showcase music renditions by Patti LaBelle and Pentatonix. This extraordinary event will be available for streaming on Disney+ in the UK starting from December 17.
