In June, Tom admitted he found himself in a ‘sinking hole’ as he opened up about his mental health.

Tom expressed to radio host Roman Kemp, during a conversation about mental health with the organization YoungMinds, that he suddenly felt as though he had fallen into a deep pit.
“I found it difficult to rise from bed; I felt as if the entire world was conspiring against me. I harbored doubts about my worthiness, a sentiment I had never shared, neither with friends nor family.
‘So then I started to just write little notes in a notepad and then picked up a guitar.’
