British comedienne makes vile online rant about Charlie Kirk’s assassination

The world is mourning and expressing outrage over his death, but British comedian Gina Yashere isn’t showing any sympathy for Charlie Kirk.

The actress, recently gaining recognition in the US with a part in the upcoming show *Star Trek: Starfleet Academy*, believes the free-speech advocate essentially achieved his goal by opposing stricter gun laws.

Kirk, a 31-year-old father of two, was fatally shot while giving a speech in Utah last week. He was a well-known supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Yashere, a 51-year-old comedian from north London known for appearing on shows like Mock The Week, publicly criticized Kirk, accusing him of spreading hateful views. Yashere specifically labeled Kirk as prejudiced against immigrants, transgender people, gay people, people of color, women, and generally sexist.

In a heated online post, she claimed that Charlie Kirk achieved the outcome he supported – more guns being available. She suggested he was willing to accept the tragic consequence of school shootings and the deaths of Democrats in their homes as the price for that outcome.

Comedian Yannis Pappas, known as Yashere, jokingly stated that despite being a devout Christian, Charlie Kirk would likely go to hell if it exists. He added that if Kirk did end up there, he hoped a Black pilot would be the one to deliver him.

This comment alluded to remarks Kirk made previously, where he voiced worries about giving preference to non-white pilots. He had said, essentially, that he would question whether a Black pilot was truly qualified.

Yashere explained she moved from Britain to the US to avoid feeling like she wasn’t good enough. She felt moving allowed her to openly embrace her identity as a lesbian, something she hadn’t felt comfortable doing in England, fearing it would lead to further limitations and judgment. She didn’t want people to define her by her sexuality in addition to everything else.

Paul McCartney playfully said he was ‘corrupting’ his daughter, Mary, when he shared his special cocktail – a sweeter take on the Margarita called the ‘Maccarita’ – on her TV cooking show, *Mary McCartney Serves It Up!*

The photographer is now hoping to create her own line of drinks. Sources reveal that Mary, a 56-year-old author of vegetarian cookbooks, has filed an application with the Intellectual Property Office to trademark the name ‘Skyfire’. She intends to use it for various beverages, including wine, beer, cider, spirits, and liqueurs.

Marchioness of Bath puts on sparking display…

King Charles asked that no tiaras be worn at his Coronation, wanting the 2022 event to feel more based on achievement than social status.

Happily, some of our landed gentry are keeping the jewellery tradition alive.

Lady Bath wore the famous Bath Tiara, featuring three peaks, to a party hosted at her family’s historic home, Longleat House in Wiltshire, over the weekend.

As someone who loves a good style moment, I always remember Emma Weymouth – you might recognize her from *Strictly Come Dancing* back in 2019 – and her incredible look from that time. She paired a stunning Vivienne Westwood gown and gloves with a beautiful Victorian family heirloom – it was a truly special and memorable outfit!

After the yearly Icons of the Sky event at Longleat, her group enjoyed a Spitfire air show, daring parachute stunts, and a beautiful display of illuminated hot air balloons.

Mandy’s mutt delays US exit

Okay, so Sir Keir Starmer *says* he’s dropped Peter Mandelson as his guy in Washington – can you believe it?! But honestly? I don’t see Lord Mandelson going anywhere anytime soon. He’s far too clever for that. He’ll find a way to stay involved, you just *know* it. He always does!

I’ve been told Lord Mandelson will continue to stay at the British Ambassador’s residence for at least another week.

‘His dog needs medical treatment before Peter can return to Britain,’ a friend tells me.

Lord Mandelson and his husband, Reinaldo Avila da Silva, share a collie named Jock. A spokesperson for the Foreign Office has dismissed the suggestion as unimportant.

Jock appeared in official Embassy social media posts, playfully referred to as ‘the hardest working member’.

Jamie Oliver, while promoting his book *Eat Yourself Healthy*, admits he’s struggled with his own weight. “I had a check-up about a year and a half ago, and my doctor told me I needed to get healthier,” the 50-year-old chef shared.

‘I’m paid to eat. I do eat good stuff, but I eat too much of it. I’m greedy, I love it.’

You know, as someone who’s seen a lot in the food world, I’ve learned that people can be surprisingly critical. Jamie Oliver, a truly talented chef and musician, has unfortunately been on the receiving end of that. A competitor, Marco Pierre White, once made a really unkind comment, calling him the ‘fat chef with a drum kit.’ It just goes to show that even successful people aren’t immune to negativity, and it’s important to remember that comments like that say far more about the person making them than the person they’re directed at.

Keeping up with latest fashion can be a drag

Model Martha Sitwell admitted she remained in a difficult marriage simply to fund her passion for collecting hats and dresses.

It’s obvious that the former wife of Sir George Sitwell, a film producer and baronet, is having a hard time overcoming an addiction.

Lady Sitwell, age 45 and the daughter of the late food critic Justin de Blank, attended the Goodwood Revival in West Sussex sporting a unique hat. The hat, created by designer Victoria Grant, was decorated with cigarette ends.

The hatmaker explained she wanted to create something personal for the client. ‘Everyone knows she’s a fan of Marlboro Red cigarettes,’ she said.

Actor Guy Pearce learned a lesson about meeting your heroes the hard way. He wishes he hadn’t approached Sir John Hurt on the set of the 2005 film, *The Proposition*.

According to former ‘Neighbours’ actor Pearce, ‘The Elephant Man’ is the most impactful film he’s ever seen.

I shared how much the movie meant to me, but he reacted angrily, telling me he didn’t want to discuss it at all.

I’ve learned a valuable lesson: putting anyone on a pedestal just doesn’t work. I used to really look up to John, but now when I see photos of us together, I just smile and realize everyone is human. It’s a good reminder to keep things real.
