Britain’s Got Talent star reveals wife is pregnant with their first baby – over ten years after winning the show
Michael Auger has revealed that his wife Nicole is expecting their first child.
On Instagram, the 35-year-old winner from Britain’s Got Talent, who is a member of the vocal group Collabro (victorious on ITV in 2014), announced delightful news on Tuesday.
In an intimate moment captured in Paris by the iconic Eiffel Tower, I found myself down on one knee, planting a tender kiss on my partner’s rounded belly – a heartwarming snapshot of our journey as expectant parents.
Posting this shot, he penned down: “In the romantic city, we’re rejoicing over our fresh affection (heart emoticon) #Paris #Eurostar
Following the announcement, friends, family, and fans flooded the comments with congratulations.
Michael’s Collabro bandmate Jamie Lambert commented: ‘Lovely lovely lovely (love heart emoji).’

As a follower excitedly exclaimed: “What fantastic news! I’m overjoyed for you both!! Wishing you, Nicole and your new little one, an abundance of love and heartfelt congratulations.
Incredible news! Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness! This is the most fantastic news I’ve heard. Congratulations on creating such a beautiful baby!
What fantastic news! Wow, wow, wow! I can hardly believe it. Congratulations for making such a stunning baby.
Or more informally:
Whoa, this is amazing news! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! You guys are going to make the most beautiful baby ever. Congrats!
Collabro, comprising members Michael Auger, Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan, and Thomas Redgrave, achieved stardom following their victory on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. They have since sold more than two million albums.
In 2016, the team encountered difficulties after band member Richard Hadfield departed due to disagreements about sharing cover song videos on YouTube.
After that point, they, being a four-member group, carried on performing live shows and opened for Cliff Richard during his Just Fabulous Rock ‘n’ Roll Tour across the UK in 2017. Later, in 2019, they launched their 51-stop tour en route to the Royal Albert Hall.
Following their advancement to the semifinals on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, the band declared a farewell tour set for 2022, causing great sadness among their fans.
In those days, I found myself overwhelmed with heartfelt gratitude, having been given the priceless opportunity to pursue my passion for eight unforgettable years. It was all thanks to the unwavering support and enthusiasm of the incredible fan base like me!
Thanks to their unwavering encouragement and affection, our journey around the globe as performers has been a reality. We’re incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done.

We’re thrilled about touring the UK in December, presenting an outstanding performance that we believe perfectly captures our farewell.
Two short weeks ago, I was taken aback by the exciting announcement from Collabro – they’re making a comeback! They unveiled plans for a UK cathedral tour set to take place in February 2026.
They announced: ‘We’re returning! We’ve seen many of you requesting a UK tour over the past years, and we’ve missed interacting with you all so much that we’ve decided to make it happen!’
In February 2026, we’re planning to tour some breathtaking cathedrals throughout the United Kingdom. We’ll be performing our enchanting harmonies in a softly glowing atmosphere!
Apart from his work with Collabro, Michael additionally collaborated with Drag Race star Divina DeCampo on the Stage Door podcast. In this podcast, they engage in interviews with professionals from the theater industry.
