Britain's Got Talent is set to make a HUGE change to the new series after boss Simon Cowell gives green light

As a dedicated follower of Britain’s Got Talent since its inception, I must say this news has me buzzing! Moving the auditions from the London Palladium to Blackpool is an inspired decision. The atmosphere there is electric, and it truly enhances the show’s energy.

Britain’s Got Talent is reportedly making a big change to its audition process.

The decision has been made by the bosses to cancel the London Palladium as the venue for the auditions, and instead, all events will take place in Blackpool.

Based on reports from The Sun, the decision was made by management to relocate due to the energetic and supportive ambiance of the coastal town being ideal for their production.

According to a source, Britain’s Got Talent is a program heavily reliant on audience participation, and the crowd in Blackpool is simply outstanding.

‘The Palladium is such an iconic venue but if you compare the shows in Blackpool to the ones they have filmed in London, the audience is way more up for it there.

Simon Cowell, our boss, has approved the plan and is eager for the program to reach its full potential.

The source mentioned that judge Amanda Holden might find the shift unsatisfactory, given her current schedule of working five days a week in London, which requires commuting.

The rest of the auditions are due to be filmed in the New Year.

TopMob has contacted ITV and Britain’s Got Talent for comment.

The events that took place following the initial day of Blackpool auditions for Britain’s Got Talent in October garnered criticism, as it seemed like one of the acts was being reshot or re-filmed on camera.

On the very first day of filming in the city, Amanda made a lively appearance in a video, following the moment she pressed her Golden Buzzer.

In the posted video on Britain’s Got Talent’s Instagram, she exclaimed with excitement: “This is something I wouldn’t typically talk about, but here goes!

Yet, sharp-eyed spectators swiftly pointed out that hidden within the video’s backdrop, a team member appeared to whisper to the audience that the scene was about to be “reshot” or “re-enacted”.

They mentioned: ‘We plan on having Oliver return to the stage for a repeat performance of that memorable scene, simply to capture another…’ as the video ended abruptly.

Some spectators didn’t hesitate to express their opinions about X, with comments such as: “Previously, it was not the norm. Just a few short years back, they wouldn’t engage in unnecessary pick-ups during auditions; instead, they were more genuine.

Initially, it’s not something overly complex, but here’s the kicker – they advise the public not to record, yet end up sharing it on the internet themselves.

Television has always been more about entertainment than truth, laughing out loud – The purpose of television is to captivate us, and while real life can be dull at times, it often requires a bit of enhancement for better viewing.

In 2011, I went for an audition, but ever since then, I’ve never had the chance to rewatch it. It’s not just inauthentic; the whole production is actually scripted.

On Tuesday, Amanda unveiled an early glimpse into the 2024 judging panel, following a temporary stint by KSI as a stand-in for Bruno Tonioli.

The veteran show judge posed for a cheeky behind-the-scenes selfie with her fellow judges.

Sharing a photo on her Instagram story, she captioned it: “Amazing artists! Sending love to @brunotonioliofficial.

KSI will star on the talent show judge panel for just three of the five first round audition days.

According to the source, the bosses wanted KSI to portray a permanent judge-like role since he’ll be filling in for several days.

This implies that there’s another chance for a Golden Buzzer act this year. Additionally, the panel of judges and hosts, Ant and Dec, will also have their own opportunities to use the Golden Buzzer.

‘It will no doubt make the finals more exciting, to see which judge is best at picking a winner.’

It’s thought that Simon had the musician-boxer as a draw, aiming to entice a younger demographic, during the period when Bruno Tonioli was based in the United States.

Bruno later returned to film the remainder of the earlier auditions.
