Brisbane Radio Star’s Heartbreaking Confession: Family Tragedy Revealed!

Radio host Stav Davidson from Brisbane has shared a heart-wrenching story about an unexpected event where their cherished family pet was unintentionally lost by his wife, Kat.

On Wednesday, the B105 FM breakfast host disclosed that several days prior, his comedy-performing spouse unintentionally hit their feline pet Mallora with their vehicle while en route to a performance.

At that particular moment, my spouse and I were both working as stand-up comics. As we prepared to leave, she was exiting our driveway when unfortunately, she hit another vehicle. This is what he shared with The Courier Mail.

They couldn’t provide a proper farewell for their pet because they needed to attend their performance first, and could only bury it upon returning home.

Stav mentioned that they needed to visit the comedy club for a performance, afterwards returning home to bury someone in the backyard.

Let me rephrase that for you: ‘May goodness be upon our neighbors, whom we are acquainted with, as I reached out to them at midnight, inquiring if they had a pickaxe and shovel. Remarkably, they didn’t ask for any explanation! It’s not easy for my wife to forget that!’

Stav hung a stunning portrait of their deceased cat in the living room, as an enduring memorial to her.

In the early 2000s, he tied the knot with his wife who is a comedian and radio host. The duo has one child together named Lorelei.

In a lively manner, the energetic co-host works with Matty Acton and Abbey Coleman on the well-liked Brisbane morning program of the Hit Network.

Stav has developed a reputation for speaking openly about his past struggles.

In 2017, he admitted that a single dose of crystal meth (ice) had him so addicted that he was using it daily even at work.

The entertainer revealed his addiction publicly on his Hit105 breakfast show to his fellow hosts.

He shared with Brisbane listeners that for approximately nine months to a year, he struggled with an addiction to crystal methamphetamine, introducing himself as Stav Davidson.

Starting in 2004, a year prior to my first radio gig, a pattern unfolded for me that I later came to regret. One day, my drug dealer presented me with a complimentary sample of ‘ice’, as I was carrying an excessive amount. Intrigued and naive, I accepted the offer, marking the beginning of a journey that would significantly alter the course of my life.

‘I will never forgive this person for what he did, because I was naive at the time,’ he said.

I didn’t realize how incredibly addictive it was, but once I got started, I couldn’t stop.

Regardless of having a fulfilling life without any issues, he found himself regularly resorting to substance use, not just outside his work hours but also during his shifts at the coffee shop.

He found himself drawn to the drug’s energizing qualities, which seemed to accelerate his thought process and sharpen his quick-thinking abilities.

As a comedian, the rapid pace at which I had to think up jokes gave my brain quite a workout. Not only that, but I found myself constantly thinking several steps ahead of everyone else in terms of humor. Put simply, I was consistently delivering jokes that left others in stitches.

However, the harmful consequences of the drug ultimately surfaced, and after nine months of misuse, he experienced an abrupt withdrawal that left him feeling chilled to the bone.

He mentioned that he had been alone at a coffee shop, stepped out towards the back, and ended up emptying around a liter of blood into the sink, he told us.

Stav managed to keep his addiction hidden from his coworkers for years, and aside from his wife, very few others in his family were aware of it, even after over a decade had passed.

He’s briefly touched upon the subject just once, during one of Osher Gunsberg’s podcast episodes, yet he hasn’t shared the full account in public to date.
