According to the latest reports, it seems like Brie Larson, who played Captain Marvel, is planning to rejoin the Marvel Cinematic Universe for one of the major movies during Phase 6. Since her debut in 2019, Larson has established herself as one of Marvel Studios’ most prominent figures. Many fans anticipate that she will play a crucial role in concluding Phase 6.

It’s being reported that Brie Larson might be part of the cast for Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday,” returning to her role as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. Previously seen in five other Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) productions following the conclusion of the Infinity Saga, Captain Marvel, one of Marvel’s most powerful characters, has left fans wondering about her future. However, recent developments have shed some light on this mystery.

According to Scooper Daniel Richtman, it has been reported that filming for Doomsday will take place at Windsor Great Park in the United Kingdom on June 15th, 18th, 26th, and 27th. A spaceship set piece being constructed for this shoot is rumored to be the same one Captain Marvel used in the movie “The Marvels,” which was released in 2023.

It’s not surprising that Brie Larson might appear in the first Avengers movie of Phase 6 given her significant power and character size within the MCU, as well as her central role in the overall storyline. This speculation follows rumors suggesting Larson could be hinting at her involvement in a project called “Doomsday,” although it was ultimately revealed to be related to a new cookbook.

According to reports, it appears that the movie titled “Avengers: Doomsday” boasts a confirmed cast of 27 members, all set to engage in an epic confrontation with Robert Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom. Although specific storyline details are being kept secret, this film promises to assemble some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most prominent figures, along with esteemed actors from previous Marvel productions, for what is set to be the largest Marvel Studios project ever undertaken. Filming for “Avengers: Doomsday” is currently underway and it is scheduled for a theater release on December 18, 2026.
