After expressing thoughts about global mental health, she shared with her followers a ray of hope amidst the current situation.
Despite the current chaos in the world, there remain countless exquisite, flawless instances of beauty, glimpses of nature’s perfection. Let’s cherish and cling to these.
She finished off the post: ‘Much love. Much friendship. Many thoughts. Always, Bridie.’
Bridie last appeared on McLeod’s Daughters in 2009.
Reflecting on her groundbreaking part, she reminisced about an uncommon, backstage fact related to the memorable ‘silo’ episode from the popular show that actually posed a risk to her safety off-camera.
In an interview with Woman’s Day, she reminisced about the memorable moment in season three when her character Tess leaped into a wheat-filled silo to dodge Dave’s marriage proposition.
Unfortunately, as Tess fought harder, she found herself sinking deeper into the wheat field. It was Nick who ultimately saved her from that predicament.
Bridie expressed pride in the series, revealing that the scene posed genuine danger on set.

One memorable scene for me is the wheat silo incident. Beneath it, there was a hidden door that I could easily have become trapped in, she mentioned.
Bridie praised the cast and crew, adding they were at the top of their game.
In such critical situations, people truly shone, which is why moments like those make me feel grateful for being part of the show.
McLeod’s Daughters, a series that chronicled the experiences of five female characters managing a ranch in the wilderness, was broadcast on Channel Nine for eight seasons from 2001 to 2009.
A few years ago, Channel Nine expressed interest in a reboot.
