Bridget Jones Snuggles with Toyboy Roxster and Giggles with Shazza in New Snapshots

Photos have emerged showing Renee Zellweger, as her character Bridget Jones, cuddling up to her romantic interest, Roxster, and laughing heartily with her close friend Shazza before the premiere of the upcoming fourth movie, “Mad About The Boy.

The 55-year-old actress will once again play the well-known single character in the upcoming sequel of the series, slated for release in movie theaters on Valentine’s Day.

In “Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy,” the beloved character finds herself a widow and mother of two, four years following the demise of her spouse Mark, portrayed by Colin Firth.

In classic Bridget style, she finds herself caught up in a triangular tug-of-love, entangled among toyboy Roxster (Leo Woodall), PE teacher Mr. Wallaker (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and the reappearing Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant).

In these fresh snaps, I find myself utterly captivated as Bridget, my beloved heroine, snuggles up to one of her enchanting love interests. With a gesture so tender it could melt ice, she gently rests her hand upon Roxster’s knee, creating an intimate scene where they seem to be intertwined on the verdant carpet of grass.

Simultaneously, the mother of two was spotted engaging in a heart-to-heart with her lifelong friend Shazza, as Sally Phillips stepped back into the character once more.

In an off-screen photograph taken on set, the actress, aged 54, can be spotted engaging in conversation with director Michael Morris.

Another sees Bridget enjoying a flirty giggle with her younger hunk while in the park.

While she also has a moment with the equally dashing Mr. Wallaker.

24 years on, I’m still captivated by the magic of my beloved diary, and I can’t help but jot down my thoughts just as the mom-of-two continues to do, filling its pages with her unique charm.

Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy is based on the book of the same name by creator Helen Fielding.

2016’s Bridget Jones’ Baby featured Bridget in a surprising situation as she learned she was expecting a child.

The story concluded with her tying the knot with Mark, the successful attorney whom she harbored complex emotions towards over the course of three films, and disclosed that he was the father of her child.

Nevertheless, in Mad About The Boy, Mark meets an unfortunate fate while working overseas as a human rights attorney, resulting in his death. This leaves Bridget to navigate single parenthood, and the novel chronicles her journey through this challenging period.

Additionally, she leaves her television job to take on the role of a school runner, where humorous situations might arise as she finds it challenging to match pace with the “Trendy Moms.

In the trailer, Bridget is depicted leading her two kids on an outing to the local park, only for them to find themselves trapped up in a tree.

However, two handsome gentlemen, known as Roxster from The White Lotus and Mr. Wallaker portrayed by Chiwetel Ejiofor, come to the rescue.

In a twist of events, it is Roxster, a charismatic character from The White Lotus, and Mr. Wallaker, as played by Chiwetel, who step in to help.

As the trailer unfolds, Bridget’s relationship with Roxster becomes increasingly passionate, and following a romantic outing, they share an exhilarating intimate moment together.

Nevertheless, as more flirtatious encounters with Mr. Wallaker occur, Bridget becomes increasingly perplexed. Ultimately, she accidentally enters a barn to discover him partially undressed.

Enthusiasts of Bridget Jones will find delight too, as a captivating sequence unfolds where Roxster leaps into a pool to save a small pup – an instance reminiscent of the memorable gaze of Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.
