Bridgerton’s Luke Newton makes red carpet debut with new girlfriend

Actor Luke Newton from Bridgerton, who is currently in a relationship with Antonia Roumelioti, walked his first red-carpet event together, as reported by Daily Mail.

On Thursday evening, the pair graced the red carpet at the BOSS One: David Beckham bash held in London, which was their initial official appearance on the red carpet together. Their photographs show them lovingly wrapped up in an affectionate hug.

Newton, most famously recognized from the Netflix series ‘Bridgerton’, was snapped sporting a fashionable brown jacket and trousers combination. On the other hand, model and dancer Roumelioti graced the scene in an eye-catching black off-the-shoulder top paired with a coordinating skirt.

Last spring, rumors of a romantic connection between us started swirling around, and in June, we fueled those whispers by being spotted affectionately at the Bridgerton afterparty, hand in hand. Later, we shared a dreamy Italian getaway, but neither of us has publicly acknowledged our relationship as such, leaving fans like me eagerly waiting for an official confirmation.

Previously, there were rumors about the actor and his co-star Nicola Coughlan being more than just friends, stemming from their successful run on the popular Netflix show. Many viewers believed in the genuine chemistry between them after watching Colin and Penelope’s romantic storyline unfold.

In an interview with Extra, Coughlan clarified and debunked the fan speculations about their relationship status.

She remarked that it was incredibly charming when asked about their relationship. Her reasoning being, they genuinely care for one another.

This individual holds a unique place in my life, and we shared an extraordinary adventure together. This kind of experience, on the grandness it held, is unlikely to be repeated for me… It’s truly delightful to have a wonderful companion by my side who makes such experiences possible.

In another setting, Newton has just taken on his debut leading part in a live-action movie, teaming up with Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars. The film titled White Mars centers around microbiologists who are desperately trying to protect their teammates from a malicious entity that seeks to annihilate them all.

Bridgerton seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
