As a lifestyle expert with extensive travel experience under my belt, I must say that Jonathan Bailey’s Sydney adventure during the Wicked press tour is nothing short of inspiring! Climbing the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge isn’t just a stroll in the park; it requires courage and a zest for life. It seems that Jonathan embodies both these qualities, as he effortlessly posed atop the bridge, flashing a grin that could light up the entire city.

During his fast-paced visit to Australia for the Wicked press tour, Jonathan Bailey didn’t hesitate to immerse himself in some local Sydney customs.

Actor from Bridgerton, aged 36, teamed up with his Wicked co-stars, including Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, for a promotional trip in Australia, where they are advertising their upcoming film, which is adapted from the well-known stage production.

Instead, Jonathan purposefully carved out moments from his bustling work routine to explore some famous landmarks in Sydney.

Instead of posting them individually, he chose to compile multiple photos from his adventure on Instagram, among which was a snapshot of himself scaling the renowned Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The picture was also shared by the Bridge Climb’s official Instagram page, and Jonathan appeared in his element as he posed at the top of the bridge.

In the role of Fiyero Tigelaar, Elphaba’s romantic counterpart in Wicked, Jonathan maintained an unruffled demeanor, flashing a broad smile and adopting a lighthearted stance.

It seems none of his “Wicked” cast members were present during the climb, for he stood alone when he reached the peak and struck a pose.

Underneath the Bridge Climb’s post, a playful caption wittily connected the climber to the character Anthony Bridgerton from the popular Netflix show “Bridgerton.

My Dearest Readers, it appears that our beloved Lord Bridgerton has exchanged his high perch within Society for a far more magnificent vantage point – none other than the splendid Sydney Harbour Bridge!

It seems that word is spreading fast about Jonathan Bailey enjoying an extraordinary Sydney adventure, and it sounds like he had a fantastic time, reminiscent of the play “Wicked”. We can’t wait to hear all his stories once he returns, crossing the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge!

On Sunday, Jonathan and his fellow cast members from “Wicked” commemorated the film’s debut in Sydney, Australia, and have since been actively publicizing its upcoming release during the past week.

In the enchanting realm of Oz, a heartwarming bond forms between the witches Elphaba (played by Cynthia) and Glinda (portrayed by Ariana), who initially have contrasting views and personalities.

In an unjust turn of events, Elphaba is portrayed as a malevolent sorceress when, in truth, she strives to reveal the deceitful and tyrannical ruler behind the scenes in her kingdom.

The story “Wicked” follows the backstory of a woman with green skin, who later transforms into the infamous Wicked Witch of the West. This narrative acts as a prequel to the classic tale “The Wizard of Oz.

The story delves into the former friendship between the characters Elphaba and Glinda many years before Dorothy’s arrival.

Additionally, the talented ensemble features Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Bronwyn James, and Peter Dinklage, along with several other notable actors.

Ariana Grande-Butera is acknowledged by credit in the movie using her birth name, and she recently disclosed that she opted for her complete name to pay tribute to her younger self.

Ariana started off by saying that technically, her name is a small version of hers – Little Ari. She went on to express that this experience felt like returning home for her.

In many aspects, I found a sense of self-discovery and familiarity through the lessons I gained from both Glinda and Elphaba in the story of Wicked.

As a kid of ten, that was the name I went by, and reusing it now feels like a heartwarming tribute. It’s almost as if life has come full circle, and this is a journey I’ve been eager to embark on.

As a die-hard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement as Wicked: Part One graces the big screen this coming November 22nd! But here’s the best part – the sequel, Wicked: Part Two, is already set for release the following year on November 21st, 2025! Simply put, I can hardly wait!
