Claudia Jessie, known for her role in Bridgerton, has responded to a popular fan prediction about her character, Eloise. In an interview with Digital Spy, Jessie expressed surprise to learn about the ‘Pall Mall theory,’ which suggests Eloise will be the focus of the show’s romantic storyline in season five.
The actor exclaimed in surprise and amazement when he learned the scene of the siblings playing a game in season two had become far more complex than originally planned.
In that scene, Colin hits his ball into the third wicket, foreshadowing that he would be the main character in season three – which has now happened.

Jessie shared with Digital Spy how much she enjoys being on Bridgerton, saying, “I really love it – you can probably tell I get excited easily!”
I really enjoy my work, and we’re all aware that seasons five and six are in the works, aren’t we? There’s a good chance one of us will be featured in them. When that time comes, I’ll be thrilled – honestly, I can’t wait! (referring to Hannah Dodd, who plays Francesca)
I was so excited to hear that Jess Brownell, the showrunner, recently told Deadline that Francesca and Eloise will be the main focus for seasons five and six! It’s going to be amazing to see their stories really take center stage.
She explained that characters represented by the ‘E’ and ‘F’ on her pocket squares will appear in seasons five and six. However, she wouldn’t reveal the order in which they’ll appear.
I was really rooting for Eloise and Theo last season! They had such a sweet connection, even though he was a printer’s apprentice and she was, well, Eloise. Sadly, Lady Whistledown exposed they were seeing each other, and things just couldn’t work out after that. It was a shame, honestly!
Eloise ended things with Theo early on, worried about the trouble he might get into, and decided to focus on other things for a while.
Fans are anticipating that Benedict and Sophie Baek will deliver a similar charming romance to the one enjoyed by Eloise and Theo.
Yerin Ha, who plays Sophie, described the opportunity to explore her character’s romance this season as “a blessing,” she told Metro.
I believe this development really expands the possibilities for Bridgerton. It feels more down-to-earth and relatable. Moving away from being overly polished and glamorous is a welcome change, in my opinion.
Now that we’re starting the fourth season, it’s great to bring a fresh energy and rhythm to the show, and I can’t wait for viewers to experience it.
